Re: TV Shows
Does anybody here watch Being Human on Syfy? They started showing commercials for new season mid-January. I can't explain it, but I really like the show. Seems like it is so limited in scope and amount of story, yet I find it interesting. Acting isn't really that great either. I dunno.
For unfamiliars: a vampire, a warewolf, and a female ghost become friends and live in one house, trying to be as human as they possibly can.

I did the exact same thing. Watched a few times during the first season, knew it was hilarious, all my friends watched it, but I didnt. Caught a marathon over thanksgiving and now watch it all the time. If they've had an unfunny episode, I havent seen it.PensFanInDC wrote:Started watching Big Bang Theory. Finished the League over the weekend.
The season had it's moments, but overall I thought it was average.

Re: TV Shows
the promos for Fox January during the Steeler game... Kiefer coming back in a new show "Touch", and a show titled "Alcatraz". The Kiefer promo looked as if they were trying to 24 it.

The 2 hour finale were two of the best episodes in the season, IMO.newarenanow wrote:Finished the League over the weekend.

Re: TV Shows
Not sure if this was posted earlier, or if anyone finished the season through, but American Horror story is going with a whole new story and a whole new cast for season 2, and will continue to do so for each season as long as it is on air.

Interesting.
I got about half way through season 1 before I got too busy, and still need to finish watching the rest of the season.

Re: TV Shows
Watched every single episode of Parenthood in 3 weeks. Not sure what I'm going to do now. That show is so good.
I have 2 episodes of Hell on Wheels to catch up on and 4-5 episodes of Chuck (apparently I really don't care that it's the last season). I think I might be behind 1 episode of HIMYM too.
Fringe starts again next week. WOO!!!
When is Walking Dead back? Feb?

Re: TV Shows
I was wondering if they might do that with the way the season ended. I stuck with this season and it was alright, but I probably wouldn't watch another season with a new cast each year.newarenanow wrote:Not sure if this was posted earlier, or if anyone finished the season through, but American Horror story is going with a whole new story and a whole new cast for season 2, and will continue to do so for each season as long as it is on air.

Re: TV Shows
Anyone watch Happy Endings on ABC enough to know if it is any good? Accidentally caught part of last night's episode and was intrigued enough to look up on imdb, to see the premise and see it was mid 2nd season. Trying to figure if it a. worth it and 2. a prerequisite to watch from the pilot on?

Yes, love that show. I don't think Season 3 is quite on par with 1 & 2 yet, which was some of the funniest television I ever saw, but it's still great.shmenguin wrote:anyone watching "the life and times of tim" on HBO? they canceled it - then quickly brought it back for season 3. so underrated.
