I image it would be really easy to see the puck come off those pads.

There's a reason Emery is starting in goal for them. They are skimping in goal. Worked once, and they are banking on it working again.profpolisci wrote:I'm amazed the Hawks can afford to keep all those people

The Bruins won with a lousy goalie.bhaw wrote:There's a reason Emery is starting in goal for them. They are skimping in goal. Worked once, and they are banking on it working again.profpolisci wrote:I'm amazed the Hawks can afford to keep all those people

And their bottom six and their bottom D pair (although they are paying Montador like a heck of a #5 D (if you consider Leddy to be their #4 with the way he's played). They really have no depth, though.bhaw wrote:There's a reason Emery is starting in goal for them. They are skimping in goal. How do you drag the puck across the blue line with your skate and get called offside?

Re: Non-Pens NHL Games Thread
Did you guys see the caps/flyers replays? Caps are freaking done. I think only 1 of those should have gone in. That team defense and goaltending is not going to take them anywhere this year. Semin -3, Ovechkin -2. And unless those 2 start scoring, their offense is overrated as well. They look like a team in serious trouble.

Habs had a goal called back when Cole literally breathed on the Flyers goalie. Habs did squander 2 5-3's.

I actually just barely want Philly to lose this. I hate Habs fans that much -- watching any game at the Bell Centre is freaking brutal.

Subban just iced the puck with 10 seconds left and they're down by 1 LOL.
