Yes, I understand. But when asked why he was on Benny, his explanation insinuated it was because Benny was outed as a role player. If he wasn't sure if Benny was red or green, why did he jump on without giving Benny a chance to explain?Sam's Drunk Dog wrote:Greens normally are unaware of who the other green players are. Color plz
I think his reasons for going after redwill are weak, and i'm further weary of this since he brings it up at a time that our angel said he won't be around to defend himself.

Furthermore, if redwill wasn't the angel, the real one would be out by now.

I've been on him for a few days now, but I don't expect or want anyone to vote for red until we hear a response from him. I was also waiting to see if anyone else came out to dispute his angel claim. I'm blue, kill me if you want. Just trying to go about this logically...ulf wrote:I think his reasons for going after redwill are weak, and i'm further weary of this since he brings it up at a time that our angel said he won't be around to defend himself.

Re: UFO Warz *** Game Thread ***
I voted for Benny on Day 1 for perhaps not the best reasons. Namely, (1) it was Day 1, (2) I honestly didn't think relantel was bad, and (3) I hoped to spur a little bit of info about Benny (either from him or from someone else). If the vote had swung to Benny, I would have switched back to Rylan. Believe that or not.
As for the current situation, I think it's a good thing the weekend's coming up, so we can all take a bit of time and look closer at the thread. I know I need to. That poem that nan received originally seemed an indication that we needed to kill shaf because he was bad, but now looks to me like it was a warning to kill shaf so that he could move on to something else. I don't necessarily believe that he's all good (he seems to be getting himself deeper and deeper into trouble with each "explanatory" post), but I do now believe that if we wouldn't have killed him, very bad things would have happened to the skeptics.
As for a candidate for disappearance, I'm leaning toward ulf. I'll collect some data from the thread and post a little later why I think that. I don't know about Malka and will have to look closer at that.

I think IE is someone that should be looked at. She piled on a train right after a known red. Typically reds will bangwagon on the middle of townie trains and she hasn't posted much except to push subtly at getting votes on certain people.

You think two reds would pile on one after the other on a Day 1 bandwagon? Separation is the typical behavior for reds, IMO.Pavel Bure wrote:I think IE is someone that should be looked at. Plus, she's been pushing for ulf, someone I think is at least mildly suspicious.

Yes, pushing the middle of a train is red behavior b/c they can push it to the point where blues can finish it off. Also giving them the excuse of not finishing a train and just following the crowd. Its typical red manuevering.

Re: UFO Warz *** Game Thread ***
Hmmm....
Well, I guess we'll have to agree to disagree.
While pushing a bandwagon against someone the reds know is not one of them is standard behavior, clustering in a bandwagon is not, IMO. I've been red many times, and the overriding mantra every time is not to appear to be acting in concert.
I'm not absolutely saying IE is not red, but I would be very surprised if she is, for that very reason.
I guess we'll see.

Nan said that he got his message at the beginning of day 2, but instead of immediately voting for shaf, he jumped on the bandwagon to vote for me. It wasn't until I came out and the vote started to switch to Pavel that he voted for shad. It makes me question if Nan actually got the message in the morning.

Especially considering the writeup for when nan died contained this:
During midday, newarenanow was about to take a shower. A note was slid under his door.

Re: UFO Warz *** Game Thread ***
Let’s go back to the vote on relantel.
Rylan had the following votes against him before Benny, who we know was the green seerer, voted for relantel.
Nan, SDD, obhave, relantel, IE, ulf, and mac in that order.
Of that group we know that nan was blue, I’m green, and rel was red. So the likelihood is that at least one red would have voted at this point. This leaves obhave, IE, ulf, and mac as possible reds.
Willie Kool agreed with Benny and voted for rel, which I feel shows he is not a red.
Nan then moved to rel too.
Next, obhave moved off of rylan to relantel when only 3 votes were on relantel and 6 votes on rylan. This doesn’t seem to me like a red joining on a bandwagon.
Next IE moved her vote to relantel not long after obhave changed her vote. With the vote moving towards relantel this could be a good point for a red to jump on to make herself seem less suspicious.
At this point I asked for a reason for the vote because I wanted to get some more information from rel and/or benny.
Ulf either had the same idea as me or he felt that pushing my question was a good way to slow the vote. ulf then voted for relantel after getting an explanation from nan.
Prior to ulf’s vote mac chimed in but never voted for relantel:
Rylan, who we know was blue, then voted for rel bringing the total to 8.
The vote then reached the time deadline.

I think both IE and mac are red at this point. I'm going to get some sleep and wait till I get some feedback on all I wrote before I make a vote.
