Following World War II, reports of unidentified flying objects stormed the U.S. The first official account of a UFO was reported by Kenneth Arnold, who in actuality was most-likely reporting the test flight of a model based off of the Horten Ho 229.



A recovered German aircraft, that had been in development since 1944, Kenneth Arnold uttered the infamous words "flying saucer," which instantly gave way to the flying saucer craze that swept the nation.



The monitor clicks off in front of a large symposium. We are in a banquet hall located in Roswell, New Mexico.



Giorgio Tsoukalos appears from the backstage area to a smattering of applause from the small UFO Enthusiasts group.



Giorgio Tsoukalos: Greetings fellow space travellers. You have assembled here for the next few days to discuss the topic of UFO's and extra-terrestrial beings. My specialty is studying the historic side of this, but I'm happy to serve as a mediator for all of your questions. First off, I'd like to quickly run down our itinerary for the day...

The generally uneventful symposium was a panel of experts, scientists, pseudo-scientists, and the like. After a brief introduction, and the history on UFO lore, it was time to open up questions to the audience. At the end of the symposium, the staff took a final tally on who was present...

Night 1



The guests gathered at the local Best Western, where they milled about in the lobby. They enjoyed a brief reception, and streamed an episode of Carl Sagan's Cosmos from a BitTorrent. After that had wrapped up, Krafster opened the side door to a smoking section. He lit up a cigarette and breathed in the musky night air. As he began to relax and unwind from the day, he noticed something wasn't right. He could feel hair standing up on his neck. How strange, here in a completely safe environment, Krafster was feeling fear. He should be on vacation! He quickly doused his cigarette and threw it into the ash tray. He turned to the side door, but it was locked. He pounded, "Hey, I'm out here can somebody let me in?"

The door opened up revealing...

Krafster screamed, turning to run, where he was caught by a second man in black. After a brief struggle, Krafster suddenly fell limp, as a dark colored newer model Cadillac rolled up. The back door opened, revealing a brief glimpse of laptops, blue electronic lights, and a third man in black behind the driver's seat. The two through Krafster into the back seat, as the car slowly pulled away.

The next morning, the guests awoke. Willie Kool was especially interested in the whereabouts of his accquaintance. He approached the front desk, where an odd looking receptionist was working.

Willie Kool: Excuse me, what room is Krafster in?

Receptionist: (Stuttering, almost as if trying to quickly learn English) I - I'm sor - who?

Willie Kool: Krafster

Receptionist: Just a minute.

Willie was puzzled by the exchange. The strange man hit a few keys on the terminal in front of him, pulling up a roster of guests.

Receptionist: He checked out this morning. Said he had a family matter to attend to.

Willie Kool: I see, thank you.

Willie eyed up the receptionist for a beat, then joined the rest of the guests. He paused after a few steps. Something wasn't right. He glanced back at the front desk. The Receptionist was gone.

The UFO Skeptics gathered in the foyer of the Best Western.

Willie Kool: Something is amiss. Krafster is missing.

Not even a minute later, Girgio Tsoukalos entered the hotel with two police Officers.

Girgio Tsoukalos: Something has happened guys. Krafster was found, not 3 miles from here. He had been probed, and was found wandering in a state of shock. They took him to a mental hospital where he claims that gray aliens abducted him. We just wanted to discuss last night's events, and maybe take a vote on what's going on.

It is now Day 1. With 16 left, it will take 9 votes to "dissappear" someone.

There have been games where you don't get killed on the first day, yet you are nonetheless consistently absent. Why should we not vote you off?

I was going to school full time plus working 40 hrs a week. Just when I would have free time I would fall asleep. Mind was willing, but at the same time tired.

Once I transferred to school up here, aside from the civil war game personally issues came up that kept me away from the computer, I have had crazy ridiculous amount of time to kill
