I've tried really hard to get into that show. It's just joke after joke about sex, and I figured it'd be funny, but I just can't do it.Sarcastic wrote:I'm watching 2 Broke Girls.
Caroline: "People really tipped us well last night."
Max: "Well, don't get used to it. Thanksgiving is almost here and as soon as people realize how much money they'll have to spend on Hollywood gifts, their wallets will snap tighter than Kim Kardashian's legs after the wedding check cleared."

Two Broke Girls is like Two and a Half Men for me. If it's on, I'll watch it. I find it somewhat entertaining, but I don't need to see it every week.

As am I. It's got a decent story and it's pretty gritty.the wicked child wrote:I'm enjoying Hell on Wheels.

Re: TV Shows
Just heard an interview with the show's creator Greg Garcia and this was brought up. When Garcia did the show "Yes Dear" he put Redakins stuff all around because he was a big fan. Decided to write Snyder and let him know about it to see if maybe he could get box tickets. He did and gets an invite every year. He now has a son who is a Caps fan so he did the same thing with "Raising Hope."Sam's Drunk Dog wrote:My only problem with the show is the father always wearing Capitals gear.Sarcastic wrote:I have to add that last night's episode of Raising Hope (Burt's Parents) was killer. I think this is one of the best and funniest shows on TV.

Got all caught up on the Walking Dead and Always Sunny last night. I'm actually enjoying the Walking Dead. A lot of stuff that is going to come to a head.
I was also watching a few older episodes of Always Sunny, and my god, I didn't realize how fat Mac really got. Great show though.
Community is the only other show that I watch regularly that I'm far behind on.

Re: TV Shows
I don't watch Always Sunny (even though I probably would like it), but I read an interview with the guys and Mac (I guess) said that he was watching shows in his time off and commented on how people get famous with successful shows and then look better as time goes on, etc...so he decided to do the opposite and made a concerted effort to get fatter. Funny stuff.newarenanow wrote:Got all caught up on the Walking Dead and Always Sunny last night. I'm actually enjoying the Walking Dead. A lot of stuff that is going to come to a head.

Yeah, I read that he put on 50lbs for that purpose. His cast mates said it was disgusting, but funny. He'd eat like 5,000 calories a day.JeffDFD wrote: I don't watch Always Sunny (even though I probably would like it), but I read an interview with the guys and Mac (I guess) said that he was watching shows in his time off and commented on how people get famous with successful shows and then look better as time goes on, etc...so he decided to do the opposite and made a concerted effort to get fatter. I guess he is taking the weight off now since they are done filming the season and would like to get back to where he was.

I was wondering what happend. So he purposedly did that for the show. Well, I can say that's some freaking dedication. But it's been brilliant. He should lose it though for next season.newarenanow wrote:Yeah, I read that he put on 50lbs for that purpose. His cast mates said it was disgusting, but funny. The last episode was pretty jarring when it switched back and forth from fat Mac to skinny Mac.

Doesn't anyone watch Terra Nova besides me? Last episode was great. They explained the rift between the colony and the sixers, as well as the dude running the colony and his son.

Re: TV Shows
I needed space on the DVR last night, so GRIMM's pilot (unwatched) was the first to go. Hell on Wheels made it expendable.

ABC is re-running the pilot of Person of Interest and another episode tomorrow night. I have seen some other episodes and enjoyed them but look forward to seeing how it all started.
