Yea because Getzla has never gone out of his way to ever hurt someone with an elbow or an illegal check or even embellished anything.

Re: Canaan's thread of NPR chaos.
I chuckled at that for about 30 good seconds.
First I was like huh?
Then I was watching the one guy's face and lolling.
Then I was like huh?
Then I was watching the other guy's face and lolling.
Then I was like lolwut?
Then I just watched it another time and laughed.

check out the goal totals per team. The worst team, which went 1-42-2, still scored almost 5 goals a game. Problem was their goaltending sucked. 743 goals in 44 games? That's almost 17 goals a game.

Funny but it will never compare to Stefan due to what happened immediately following his missed empty netter.cma3585 wrote:Patrik Stefan has company...

Re: Canaan's thread of NPR chaos.
Look at Billy Tibbetts dropping a 10-spot on the opposition with a +13.

To be fair, this Delaware team was full of n00bs who were basically beer leaguers playing over their head. This team was formerly the Vermont Wild, which had suspended operations a month ago and had all their players available through free agency. The franchise eventually relocated to Delaware with a goalie and a forward on the roster.
You might look at it as an 18-0 shutout, but I look at it as a pair of goalies combining for 91 saves.

Re: Canaan's thread of NPR chaos.
Reminds me of a game I played in high school. We were playing in Richmond, so only about half our team decided to make the trip (soff). I was in goal, and we got KILLED like 12-3. But they had to have had close to 80 shots.JS© wrote:Look at Billy Tibbetts dropping a 10-spot on the opposition with a +13.

Re: Canaan's thread of NPR chaos.
No, but when you have one goalie and 8 skaters on an admittedly bad team to start, going against the first place team at full strength, after a 2+ hour car ride... It doesn't lead to the most competitive of games.Physical_Graffiti wrote:And the opposing team's players were 50 foot tall ogres with rockets attached to their skates? :pop:
