fun fact: there are 3 bands everyone tells me I am supposed to like, but in reality, i cant stand. built to spill, sonic youth, and weezer. i know people that think my indie rock card should be revoked because of this, and insist that none of my musical tastes make any sense because i dont like these bands. particularly sonic youth. like it really baffles people.

my friend caroline works as a music publicist, and she is very cool. like the coolest person ever. every time we get in a conversation and any of those 3 bands come up, we have the exact same argument every time. of course, she doesnt like aereogramme, and the 14 people who have ever heard of aereogramme know how wrong she is on that one. speaking of which...

No clue how this band only managed 2 albums before breaking up. Easily one of the best In Flames-influenced bands I've heard in a decade.

That's my biggest gripe about Aereogramme. Some of their stuff is great but it's smothered at times with many minutes of nothing.
