Re: TV Shows
Watched both episodes of hell on wheels today. Love it and will keep watching. Its has a deadwood feel to it but faster paced and easier to follow.

Going to watch the new Walking Dead tonight.
I might also take up that Hell on Wheels show.
I have a lot of TV watching to do.

Re: TV Shows
2nd episode of Once upon a time was better than the first. looking forward to catching up, hope it keeps up.
The 3rd episode of BOSS was a snoozefest, hope this show picks up or it's off the list. Started really good too.

Re: TV Shows
I have never during a TV show
Hell on Wheels is fantastic.
Walking Dead I feel has progressively gotten better as the season has gone along. The end of last night's episode opens a whole can of worms if they're following a loose loose guideline of the graphic novel.

Anyone else here watch Grimm? I'm 2 episodes in and haven't made a decision on if I like it or not.

Yeah I don't see how far they can really take fairytale bad guys. It'll probably go the way of The Cape.canaan wrote:im liking it less and less by the week.Chefpatrick871 wrote:Anyone else here watch Grimm? I'm 2 episodes in and haven't made a decision on if I like it or not.
Also am watching the only 8 episodes there are of New Amsterdam. Guess this was on fox a few years ago and got canned. Shame I really enjoy it. Why does fox cancel decent shows when all it would take for them to keep some would be to get rid of the effing ten o clock news. It's 2011 and I can get the news any time from multiple sources.

Re: TV Shows
Grimm is like if you took x-files, replaced Mulder and Scully with a generic main actor and a sitcom-esque goofball sidekick, then just totally scrapped the overarching conspiracy plot.
Homeland was absolutely amazing again last night. Homeland is like 24, if you take out all the ridiculous stupid stuff like having a super hero as the main character, and increased the acting ability all around by 50x.

Re: TV Shows
I've fallen asleep for both episodes I've watched so I'm not sure how valid my thoughts are, but the show feels like it has potential, but they are missing something. I'm hoping it comes together soon, because the whole idea has promiseChefpatrick871 wrote:Anyone else here watch Grimm? I'm 2 episodes in and haven't made a decision on if I like it or not.

Re: TV Shows
Community will be shelved at mid season. Not officially cancelled, but doesnt look good. I have no clue how Whitney continues to be on but Community is off.

Re: TV Shows
shelving is a way to kill a show. Just ask Law & Order: Los Angeles. They took a 3 month hiatus, retooled, and killed it in the process. Then, after all the other shows had ended, they were airing unaired episodes with Skeet Ulrich well into June, that were better than their retooled crap, and got good ratings. But dead the show still was.cheesesteakwithegg wrote:Community will be shelved at mid season. Not officially cancelled, but doesnt look good. Not good for Community.
I love that show. I hope it doesn't go away. They will keep some other crap show in it's place that will only be cancelled after this season.

I hate that it has come to it, but maybe they will push Community to run longer so they can get it in syndication?
