It is fun tho to see the Caps organization and fans act as though every win gets them the Stanley Cup, then treat every loss like its the end of their franchise.

When was the last time the Wings lost 5 in a row? My guess would be 1995 and I'd probably be wrong.

ANA was playing too cautious that OT. They didn't want to shoot for fear of losing puck possession, but they didn't end up getting any pucks on net at all.

A time they once lost 4 of 5 also stands out as well.

Keith Jones completely dogged Ovi in the interview, for not being out with the extra man situation.

These guys pounded Ovechkin on the post game. Surprisingly I must say. The nicest thing they said was giving him credit for still doing the interview. lol He was out there for the winning goal, its not like he could hear what you turds were saying about him.

Re: Non-Pens NHL Games Thread
Didn't get to see the end of the game. But how could they not have Getz, Perry, Ryan out there as much as possible. Every time all three of them were on the ice they dominated zone time and got scoring chances. Quite literally they were uncontainable the puck just wasn't going in. Also Selanne is still a beast. It's like old man strength but in hockey terms.meecrofilm wrote:ANA was playing too cautious that OT. Tortorella slams Thornton, who slammed the Rangers:

Pretty smart thing to say after a 5-2 loss.

He's right. There are so many other words one could use.Thornton tried to clarify his comments earlier today, saying that soft wasn't the right word to describe the Rangers.

Ovechkin called his coach an overweight fornication during the timeout at the end of the game. ![Scared :scared:](./images/smilies/scare.gif)
