The pilot held promise, but the 2nd episode was a letdown.

What's that new cop show with Maria Bello? Just from watching the previews, it looked like they were trying WAY too hard to make her the "strong woman"

It's actually a really good show. It's not that they're trying to make her the strong woman. She is, but she's also the ONLY woman detective, and gets ALOT of crap for it from the other detectives. She got beat to hell last week, too.

I thought the previews made it look really good, and i liked the first episode. I'm going to bed now, so i'm not watching tonights episode yet, but the show seems solid. I guess she puts up the strong woman front which makes the character believable because otherwise she would never be where her character is in the show, but they definitely show a lot of the "not strong woman", which also was pretty essential in me being able to like the character.

A lot of people have been talking about Person of Interest, hopefully it is on demand on FIOS and I can get caught up.

Watched Suburgatory's pilot last night. Wasn't bad. My wife kind of liked it. Strange seeing the guy that played Lupo in Law & Order in a comedy role. Also has Alan Tudyk, who was the pilot in Firefly.

Huge Arrested Development news:

New Yorker tweeted that AD is returning for one more season which will lead into the movie.
" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

The creator has stated that his plan is to do 9-10 episodes, featuring one character per episode which I assume will lead up to the family getting back together for the movie.

I'm in.

Great concept, has the potential for good character development, even if the plot itself has a million holes in it.

The last plot I heard for the movie sounded amazing as well.

On another note, season premiere of Dexter was pretty good. Really liked the first episode of Homeland.

aside from the occasional reality show and of course sports, there really is not one show worth watching on network television. when there are shows like breaking bad, mad men, boardwalk empire, dexter, etc nothing on network television is worth the time.
