I started watching Nip/Tuck on netflix. This is the second most insane show I have ever seen, right behind Californiacation.

i think they're trying to have their cake and eat it too. the garbage parts of that show can win over the "broad comedy" audience, while there is a cult following of will arnett, and every woman loves christina applegate these days.

i don't see how they can fix it, considering they're pumping up maya rudolph as a main character.

I feel like I am watching "The Office" out of obligation, at this point.

Spader is pretty good in that role, I'll admit.

If the rest of the pilot is as good as the first segment (leading up to the title) on Person of Interest, should be a great show.

I was happy with the Office and Spader. Like columbia said, I feel like I am watching it out of obligation at this point, but I really enjoyed last night's episode.

Also thought Parks n Rec, Community, and Always Sunny were solid last night.

All in all, a good night of TV

I searched this thread and Mad Men didn't come up once...really? Is the search broken?

Anyway, I just started to watch the show on Netflix...and very quickly I'm up to the 4th season. An excellent show, even though I almost gave up on it after the first handful of episodes.

I gave up on Mad Men about 3/4 through season 1. Too slow for me.

I mentioned it a few pages back saying I am too impatient for the next season to come out. So the search must be broken

The search ignores words with 3 or less letters.

I thought there might have been a separate thread about Mad Men. I really like that show.

Absolutely crazy show. I watched the first two season as they aired, then stopped watching it for a while. I eventually caught up and saw all of it. Its definitely ridiculous in parts and insanely unbelievable. It makes some soap operas look more realistic, but it is definitely enjoyable to watch.

Watched the first episode of Mad Men and Breaking Bad on Netflix. Have to say that I am more intrigued by BB after that one episode, but I'll probably end up watching both at some point.

I watched the first four episodes of Mad Men about a year ago, and thought it was a bit slow. It really got going in seasons 2 and 3 though...and now I have to wait until March. :(

Is the premise that the world is going to crap so lets go back in time and keep the human race alive?

If so....the premise sucks. They chose to go back in time before a major extinction event.

But if thats not the premise, well okay then....

It is the premise... however...
