Re: 93.7 The Fan Now On
With the amount of those of Eastern European decent you would think people from Pittsburgh would be able to pronounce Roethlisberger correctly.

Re: 93.7 The Fan Now On
Yes, I am aware of that. I was saying that we run across a lot of hard to pronounce names in the Pittsburgh area. Roethlisberger isn't very difficult by comparison.slappybrown wrote:He's Swiss.

I would tune into the postgame online at 104.7FM just to hear Rocco's show. He was awesome.

Re: 93.7 The Fan Now On
The Fan hired people with no Pittsburgh sports knowledge and paired them with newspaper reporters and anchors and tried to create a radio station. They clearly went on the cheap on this one, guys like Filiponi prove it. I wish they'd switch him with Mueller. He has IMO the best sports talk show that nobody gets to hear due to time slot. Also why not get Dameshek in here and Laird. At least those guys know their stuff. Laird had a cup of coffee at the Fan but went to the Trib. I also wouldn't mind moar John Phillips.
Straw Poll:
Chris Mack
or
Filiponi

Re: 93.7 The Fan Now On
I frankly don't think I have ever heard Mack (when is he on?), as I only listen in the mornings and driving home around 7-8. But I cannot fathom how anyone in the history of the spoken word could be any worse than Filliponi.
