Guess I'll fetch myself some water from Spangler's Spring while we're waiting.

Two of my brothers live in Gettysburg.
I think I might have time to drive there and back....

Anyone ever been to this place while at Gettysburg?

It was a stop on the underground railroad and it has natural springs in the basement.

Re: The Battle of Gettysburg **Game Thread**
The Union after spending most of Battle to this point on the defensive was sure that they had bagged another Confederate Officer in Redwill, but that wasn’t the case. Union General, Gen. George Meade spent the night reloading his Springfield single-shot rifled musket, while others on the battle field were busy identifying their potential targets.
Gen. Robert E Lee spent most of the night surveying the battlefield and conferring with his officers. Before the sun rose on Day 4 they had agreed on a target.
A group of unbeknownst villagers also was on the offensive this Night, like they had been once before. After taking the previous night to re-load their weapon they honed in on their target.
Players Remaining:
1. IrishEyes
2. Zarovich
3. the wicked child
4. Rylan
5. bhaw
6. columbia
7. MWB
8. Troy Loney
9. Letang Is The Truth
10. Kraftster
11. pittsports87
12. slappybrown
13. Sam's Drunk Dog
Its now Day 4. It takes 7 to fire upon.
Deadline is 8PM

Kraftster must have hired Shyster to protect him.
Then again, given his occupation before the war, perhaps he didn't need it.

Had redwill not dipped so far into the absinthe, we would be able call on his wisdom, but war breaks many a man.

Most blocked kills in a game in a long time?
Troy and twc seem to be playing most abnormal out of all players. Troy probably more than anyone else.

Re: The Battle of Gettysburg **Game Thread**
Interesting...
Night 3 was clearly a vig kill that missed. Night 4 was a kill attempted by unknown villagers who were not able to kill the previous night (from what I read).
Question is, why are these kills being blocked? Is it likely that an angel wasted their protect on redwill, a blue, to leave himself vulnerable?

I think kraftster is not bad.
I think Columbia is. His comment about the vig knows what he needs to do stuck out to me.

Re: The Battle of Gettysburg **Game Thread**
So we know confed is red and union is green. What would the third faction be? Anyone have thoughts in an historical context? Whatever this "unbeknownst" group is, they seem to have a vig.... had to wait to reload a gun.bhaw wrote:Interesting...

Mason means (usually) that he has someone he can PM. His orange color is not very telling though.

I broker in ambiguity in this game and either side - red or blue - will have to deal with a negative consequence from killing me.

I know what mason is, but wanted more clarity on the role and why it would be risky to kill him. If he was truly part of the village, or meant to help, he would be green.
