I'm not sure if this show is on BBC America, but I was watching Dragon's Den on BBC two. It is a show where entrepreneurs pitch ideas to a group of 5 millionaire business people to see if any of them would be willing to invest. The "Dragons" are vicious. Not sure how I feel about people's dreams getting crushed, but some of the "inventions" or ideas are just ridiculous.

Re: TV Shows
I'm assuming its the show I just watched called Shark Tank. Exact copy of Dragon's Den. Interesting difference is that the American one (Shark Tank) seems to put a lot more emphasis on emotions. They play up tragedies or family things to get an emotional or sympathetic response, while in the UK one they don't seem to care at all about the personal lives of the entrepreneurs.Rylan wrote:There was a show like this on NBC I believe.obhave wrote:I'm not sure if this show is on BBC America, but I was watching Dragon's Den on BBC two. Got a copy of the first and only season of the Black Donnellys for my birthday. Watched disc 1 last night. I forgot how cool that show was. Can't wait to get to the unaired episodes.

people used to tell me the "novelty" of drinking would wear off as i got older. it hasnt, but watching TV has become about an "hour a week" thing besides sports. TV shows suck.

How has Entourage been? I saw the first 2 episodes of the season, but haven't made it a point to catch up on the rest. Is it even worth it?

Underwhelmingly average. Though I guess that's not really much of a surprise.cheesesteakwithegg wrote:How has Entourage been? I saw the first 2 episodes of the season, but haven't made it a point to catch up on the rest. Is it even worth it?

Re: TV Shows
One episode of Dark Blue left to watch. And I think we're down to 4 or 5 episodes of The Event left to go. Just in time for the fall seasons to begin that will require the space being freed up...

Re: TV Shows
If you have stuck around through the last few seasons, you can stick through another. Its on par with what we've been seeing.cheesesteakwithegg wrote:How has Entourage been? I saw the first 2 episodes of the season, but haven't made it a point to catch up on the rest. Is it even worth it?
