*Irish Revolution Warz Game Thread*

Failte to Ireland!

It is April 1916. There is an unrest throughout the Emerald Isle. An uneasy feeling is settling into the countryside, every Irish Citizen can feel it. There is talk of a rebellion. :scared: No one knows who to trust. The British have there spies and unionists everywhere. In the pubs, they talk of the Republicans, plotting to fight for a free country. Through the uncertainty hope is starting to rise.

Can the citizens help form the new Republic? Or will the British once again crush the dreams of this island?

There are a few hard years ahead of you, so drink up...

Blue prize has been won. If you did not receive a PM from me, sadly you were not the first correct answer.

Correct answer: hurling stick (or hurley) which is used in the Irish sport of Hurling or Camogie (the female equivalent).

Lol. Mention of Red, Green, and Blue in the writeup then TWC is purple. Go figure.

There's almost always an independent faction. It happens.

i think in a "theme" game of this size you always suspect there are few other factions. The way she mentioned British spies and Unionist I figued we'd see some Unionist popping up as yellows or something.

Yes. He participates for spurts and then disappears for long period of times. At least he has the last few games. Could be a detriment down the road.

He wasn't red and he wasn't green. I'm just thinking that some knowledge of the role of these "disgruntled" farmers during the revolution would allow us to know what this purple faction is....they could be completely independent and be against both the british and the revolution.

Even not knowing all that, it's been known that if you're not blue or green, you're of the others. I can't remember any game where an independent faction wasn't given the instructions that all they had to do was survive.

This is true to an extent, though there have been games where another color had the chance to join the greens/blues under the right circumstances.

That's what i'm thinking. i don't want us all to just assume purple is good and let someone claim purple when being voted off and then get pulled out of the suspicion pool.
