I heard GNR's version of "Knockin' on Heaven's Door" on the radio this morning. It's so interesting how Axl Rose can take a one-syllable word like "door" and turn it into a three-syllable word:

Knock-knock-knockin' on heaven's duh-uh-war

What if they did other Dylan covers?

Blowin' in the wih-uh-wind

Like a rolling stoe-o-wone

Tangled up in blue-oo-woo

All along the watch-tow-uh-wer

Love that song, got to see Jerry Corbetta (founder of the band) live about 10 years ago. He now plays with the Classic Rock All Stars (drummer from Rare Earth, Mike Pinera (Blues Image/Iron Butterfly), and some other guy who I forget)

Should've never lost touch. That album is one of the heaviest hitting metal albums I've ever heard. Right up there Vision Of Disorder's Imprint. Incredible lifting music. The riff to Shadow World alone makes me want to punch a hole through a wall.
