Why this isnt Vancouver?
Ben Howland begs to differ.
As does Tommy Maddox.
I am not aware of any Ben Howland incident. But I don't follow Pitt or any stories about them.
Maddox situation was blown out of proportion by his wife. I am not saying there are not jerks here. But I don't like disparaging Yinzer comments. I like it here.

If any of you have any knowledge of Scotland and football, you will know what that rivalry means. This feels strangely similar.
No offense but there is no religious conflict driving the hatred between the Pens & Flyers and there isn't any violence between the fans.
There probably isn't anything in American sports that could come remotely close to what Mo Johnson did.

What a joke Jagr is.....he wants to win a cup and he signs with a team that just traded its best two players a week ago....hahaha.
And a team that that went further in the playoffs than the penguins....****, it's not like he went to the islanders.
A team that went further with all of their top players healthy. They've now traded two of those players away, and we get our top two back. I like our chances.

no offence taken and I realise the situation in terms of the religious divide and violence dont relate in any way to this. I was more meaning Jagr's words about wanting to return to Pittsburgh and then signing for their biggest rivals which is obviously a big deal. Should have explained myself better i guess!
