Maybe it is ploy hoping Jagr will go "wait, wait WAIT!"??Idoit40fans wrote:Pulling the offer before FA doesn't make any sense. The offer should be on the table until noon, it wouldn't make sense to pull it before it can even be officially accepted.
dunno bout him, but I'm happy!Member wrote:Ron Cook's gloating about this, what a joke. There aren't many/any better scoring options for wingers, I hope he's happy.
Jagr is almost 40 years old! How can you blame his agent? Give me a break.pittsports87 wrote:Jagr withdrawn. I may now be depressed, **** that eurotrash and greedy agent.
He's gloating because many fans wanted it to happen, not because he thinks it will make that big of a difference to the team, much a lot of other fans.Member wrote:Ron Cook's gloating about this, what a joke. There aren't many/any better scoring options for wingers, I hope he's happy.
talk about a bidding war, Upshall is going to command some serious cash.NJ5934 wrote:Member wrote:Ron Cook's gloating about this, what a joke. There aren't many/any better scoring options for wingers, I hope he's happy.
Jagr is such a question mark at this point, there is no way of knowing that.
Kennedy and Upshall are both capable of 25+ goal seasons without the drama. No telling what kinda season Jagr would have had here.
I'll take the grit over the glamor any day.
Very easily.Desiato wrote:Jagr is almost 40 years old! How can you blame his agent? Give me a break.pittsports87 wrote:Jagr withdrawn. I may now be depressed, **** that eurotrash and greedy agent.
Agreed, I better not see his jersey in the rafters of CEC.Bioshock wrote:Well, he will never return to Pittsburgh in any capacity now. I know for a fact that he will never have his jersey retired in this town.
I kind of agree. He could have rebuilt every bridge he burnt. So much for the "I'd take the minimum to play for Mario line."pens#1 wrote:I hope they never retire his number after this
You really don't think 5 years from now this will all be forgotten? It will be retiredBioshock wrote:Well, he will never return to Pittsburgh in any capacity now. I know for a fact that he will never have his jersey retired in this town.

I like it to, i think Shero learned a lessen with the Hossa signing in Det, he held out a little to long and played his cards wrong.Gaucho wrote:Shero says: Don't **** with me. I like it.
