Welcome bandwagon jumpers!

These past couple months new fans have been taking alot of heat and critisim for watching and following the pens. I would like to thank them for coming aboard for the ride. They help sell out games, they increase television ratings and help get more media coverage for the team. Yes there are those who are completely clueless about the sport and make dumb remarks about possible trades, the new arena etc. but like me, take the time to educate them about the sport and the team and make them into real fans. Then some say that all the newbies on this board are bandwagon jumpers. Its kinda hard to take the time to log onto a website and chat about a team that has been at the bottom for so long. Why put salt in the wounds and come on and talk about the huge loosing streak we are on. Its alot more exciting to log on and talk playoffs and possible trades and arena stuff then loosing. So lets lay off the the bashing of the newbies and bandwagon jumpers and lets turn them into longterm fans to help support the team for years to come.

Just Photoshop in a backdrop of Raleigh and you can recreate their parade.

I could do without some bandwagoners though.

When I went to the Craps game on Sunday, I had to hear this guy whining all the way to the arena because he had to park at the Mariott and was a couple minutes late for the game. I wanted to punch him the 20th time he said "man, I paid $90 for tickets and I gotta go through this. It isn't worth it."

I savor every minute of it since I only go to a few games a year.
