ive seen ben do some pretty ridiculous things in real life. stuff that if someone that wasnt a star football would get their world rocked for. i could give a rats ass though because i want him on my football team any day of the weekPensOnDVD wrote:Ben was never the monster people proclaim him to be. It's the official segment of "random hot girl that isn't going to sleep with any of us".
I hated that segment almost as much as the "jim colony reads NCAA player tweets".
I believe these segments are all Gianotti, he sucks.

O, because of my current schedule I rarely listen to the morning show... guess I'm out of the loop. Anyways, yea it was pretty bad; all she talked about was her being a bi-sexual as Alexander sounded like he was having an orgasmTroy Loney wrote:IanMoran wrote:Why are they interviewing some playmate.... this is just awkward / creepy

Re: 93.7 The Fan Now On
I was FB creeping a couple of these guys because one of my buddies told me how hilarious / tool like filliponi's pics are on fb (they're) and Gianotti is dating some "CBS radio executive" I believe. Hopefully a bad break up or something forces him to leave the station lolTroy Loney wrote:IanMoran wrote:Why are they interviewing some playmate.... this is just awkward / creepy

Chris Mack should try radio in a different market.

Or perhaps another line of work?
I realize that people routinely get fired in radio, but he's not doing too well.
And that was a web only "station"?

Re: 93.7 The Fan Now On
Admittedly wasn't a big fan of Mack before, but I started listening to the Trib show he did and I thought it was pretty good. At the very least, it was certainly better than listen to Cook suck the joy out of living and Vinnie "ninee tree sheven da faaaaaaaan" his way through segment after segment. Mack had a loose format that was probably more podcast than station show, but he did well with guests and it didn't feel overproduced like some of the stuff on 93.7 does.
He said on his Twitter account that he was told it wasn't pulling in enough money (could blame the web-only format there), so they had to make a change. Amazingly, they retained John Steigerwald.

Of course they would. Any and all publicity is what they want.Stoosh wrote:Admittedly wasn't a big fan of Mack before, but I started listening to the Trib show he did and I thought it was pretty good. Re: 93.7 The Fan Now On
They're airing a parody song of "Working at the car wash" called "Working at the jock wash", this isn't even remotely funny, just stop. This is bad and cliche radio at its finest.

If this station wasn't so pathetic, this thread would only have like 10 pages and this thread would be on the 20th page in NHR by now.

Malkamaniac has a smug feeling knowing that you still listen to compact discs.KennyTheKangaroo wrote:thanks for mentioning jock wash

Re: 93.7 The Fan Now On
I really NEVER got this, he had to put jocks in a washing machine? I'm sure a lot of people have had worse jobs than that growing up.... idk why it became the subject of conversation for a month
