Gaucho, I'm sorry for this, but people will tag you for anything on Day 1 comments. That's just the way it's been around here, unfair or not.

I know, I can see that. I know when I was new to Warz I fought to stay alive as a blue, so I have some reservations that Gaucho is doing the same thing.ulf wrote:I feel like most blues don't go to all ends to save themselves but buddies are pretty important and don't want to die.Kraftster wrote:Haha, I find it funny that the only one defending himself gets the vote.ulf wrote:After reading it all, gaucho is the only one really defending himself.

Blue people will defend themselves....baddies will probably role claim if they start getting too much heat.ulf wrote:I feel like most blues don't go to all ends to save themselves but buddies are pretty important and don't want to die.Kraftster wrote:Haha, I find it funny that the only one defending himself gets the vote.ulf wrote:After reading it all, gaucho is the only one really defending himself.

Vote Count:

ps87 - 5 (Troy, shaf, columbia, doublem, kraft)
Troy - 4 (nan, mac, canaan, Malk)

Troy was defending himself even before he got any votes. And made a defensive post after each of his first 5 votes, until I mentioned that.ulf wrote:I feel like most blues don't go to all ends to save themselves but buddies are pretty important and don't want to die.Kraftster wrote:Haha, I find it funny that the only one defending himself gets the vote.ulf wrote:After reading it all, gaucho is the only one really defending himself.

Although Gaucho is now really starting to reel and keeps digging himself deeper. I'm still scratching my head as to why he called himself out in the first place.

Re: ***BEER WARS GAME THREAD***
When I was new, probably second or third game, I once changed my vote a couple minutes before the deadline to create a tie so no one was killed. I was defending myself hard. I was just a blue. I thought (and I still think now after lots of games) that it was the right move. I did learn that in some cases, blues should know their role and fall on the sword because it can provide some valuable information.Gaucho wrote:Yeah, I should've known better.Malkamaniac wrote:Gaucho, I'm sorry for this, but people will tag you for anything on Day 1 comments. I like your fight. We don't gain much by killing you here.

Re: ***BEER WARS GAME THREAD***
It looks the bandwagon is going flatten PS87 and I'm ok with that. Not too much harm done if he is blue.
However....I do have a suspicion of Doc offing either c2i or slappy. I'm not the seer, but I would investigate him if I had the chance.

Re: ***BEER WARS GAME THREAD***
I will say this. I've had moments where I was blue and I realized I said something kind of silly. In those situations, I've tried to preempt by saying something like Gaucho did. If I'm read and I ahve some ploy going on, I would not call attention to myself, I'd play the "oh please" line after the heat was already on.newarenanow wrote:Troy was defending himself even before he got any votes. Because I had nothing to hide, which would be the only reason I'd do something so obviously and blatantly stupid. And with this I'll rest my case.newarenanow wrote: Although Gaucho is now really starting to reel and keeps digging himself deeper. Re: ***BEER WARS GAME THREAD***
That is a good point. Hopefully we will find something from these last votes. I think its a 3 way tie now if my maths right. someone's gonna have to make a decision that hasn't voted.Kraftster wrote:I will say this. I'm gonna make the deadline 3 pm. Everyone had a few hours after the writeup last night and that gives most of the day today.
I'll be back around 1230ish

At this point, at least two people have to switch to hit the limit if EVERYONE else votes.

And I could be wrong, but in previous games, doublem does not vote this early in the game, so I wouldn't hold my breath on him joining in and voting.
That is one reason I went after him during day 1.
