I say that they´re playing catch a mouse with Isles, just wanting to make games interesting for us and for themselves - come from behind or make a big lead and then make it tight again :)

Well seeing as how just about every game lately has been to go up by 2 or 3 goals and then let the other team tie to only win it in OT or a SO maybe it's intentional? :D

Watching them give up 2 goal leads gives me major heartburn. I still think they play too conservative when they have the lead. I hope MT gets the defense focused for the 3rd period. Lets get the W or keep the points streak alive

is it just me, or did it look like we were playing for the intermission after tying the game, instead of trying to score again?

I don't care as long as it's a pen, any pen, even a poor pen, just a pen.

I agreed! :D
This is a conditioning test of MAF. In the playoffs there is no rest. After the streak is over MAF will get a rest.

Players and coaches are superstitious as well. You don't do anything different during a long winning streak especially switch goalies.

Recchi now has 59 points in 59 games.

Crosbyno has more assists than any other Penguin has points.

Did you come up with that? :D
No. I called them the Staalkin line. Someone else said Staalkinette but that was before MO had strung together some consistent production so I refused to credit him. I credit him now. :D
Not to steal your thunder dagny, but if you search "staalkin" you'll see where it comes from...
Not sure which thread I'm supposed to check after the search. I'm curious, if you want to tell me. If someone else said it first, no biggie. :D

Miroslav Satan, he's been a Pen-killer through his entire career.

Scuderi plays textbook defense in our zone and SMASHES an Islander into the glass. He then dishes the puck over to Scuderi who goes end to end with a goal.

No, actually my guess is Whitney. PP goal.

Dont be surprised to see the refs give the Isles a 5-on-3 in the 3rd period. They "owe" them.

I wouldn't be opposed to starting Thibault at Florida on Thursday. It seems Fleury could use a long break, and he would get five days of rest before playing Tampa Bay on Sunday.

As for the game-winner, it'll be Sid. 6-5.
