I'm thinking I'll start beer wars May 31, day after Memorial Day. I'll have the sign up thread up well in advance of that. If anyone is interested in co-modding let me know.

Signup is still there... beerman's game doesn't start till the 31st. But it looks sparse for AW atm.

If we have enough people by next week, we'll start; if not I'll keep it up for after the game.

Probably not a bad idea, though the signup lull tends to create its own break between games.

Ocean Warz

Based on the Ocean's 11 series, Ocean's Crew, (number unkown), have 12 days to bankroll three high-rollers who are trying to rob regular gamblers at the tables.

Game lasts only 12 days before the Atlantic City Game Commission arrives to arrest Danny's crew. There are multiple roles, though the actual number of green's cannot be revealed. Nobody knows each other's identity.

Everyone starts off with a dollar amount, every night there will be a featured Blackjack table where three selected participants will compete in the thread. If you run out of money, you will not die, but the consequences may change the game.

Each crew starts off with $0 in their account. By accumulating certain monetary amounts, your crew can add to their Nighttime Actions from a pre-determined list. Nighttime Actions will increase your side's chance of winning all the money.

Need 1 co-mod, medium-sized game.

Guess I should add, when you're selected for the Blackjack table, your identity / LGP username will NOT be revealed.

Beerman and I are going to co-mod Ocean Warz at the end of the month.

If anyone still wants to do ATTITUDE WARZ, feel free to sign-up. It will be a quick game.

So what's going on... is Ocean Warz happening or not? Does anyone else have a game they want to run?

I can probably be ready to run Barnyard Brawl 2 in a couple weeks... I just need to figure out a few things in regards to the roles.

At some point, once I have played more and co-modded something, I want to do a Mad Scientist Warz or an IRA Warz. You guys know how long I should play warz before I design a game?

Whenever you feel ready. Maybe co-mod a small game and get the gist of how running a game goes then and design your game after to see how you want it.

Just so I can start thinking of everything, would you guys want a Mad Scientist or an Irish Revolution Warz first?

Both sound intriguing, so whichever one you do first is a good one :thumb:

Board mods might not like an IRA Warz. They've nixed controversial stuff before.

Perhaps - but if it is Irish revolution as in the historical event, that's not much different than some we've done before with civil war or 1776 or others. Current IRA, that's completely different.

it would be based on the Irish Revolution. The "real" IRA, terrorist group, is not what I meant.
