I mean it when I say that if new episodes are as good as the pilot, this will be my new favorite.
Have been watching The Borgias on Showtime. Don't know why I find it interesting, but I do.

Re: TV Shows
To be honest, the first episode was best because they tortured the new guy, but the following episodes were more serious since he became a full member of the squad and it wasn't so funny anymore. Horrible ratings. Oh, well.pfim wrote:Canceled after 3 shows...it was awful.newarenanow wrote:I missed the pilot. But I do want to see the show. The previews looked good. Just finished up the last 2 The Event episodes. Man. I really hope it gets cancelled. It gets on my nerves too much, but since I watched every episode, I don't want to stop now.

She is from Wexford. Wexford's own Christina Aguilera.

Re: TV Shows
I had The Voice on one TV and the Flyers/Buffalo game on another. It wasn't bad. I'll probably watch next week. I would hope these judges will be better than the ones on A.I. who are more interested in giving compliments to people: "You hit a few bad notes, but it's OK because I enjoyed the overall performance! I'm honored to be in your presence!". Steven Tyler is worse than even Paula Abdul in that regard.

I think the show itself is great. But everyone kinda knows (or can easily find out) what happens in real life, and I don't see them deviating too much from what really happened, so it loses some of the intrigue.
Still, I'll definitely be watching.

Justified last night? One episode left in the season. Boyd's going bad again? Next season's gonna rock.

If you have HBO on demand, check out the "Talking Funny" special while it's still available.

Re: TV Shows
What is it with all those shows on HBO or Max lately with so much nudity and love scenes? I'm talking about all those Greek/Roman shows. They annoy me. If I want some of that, I'll put a real movie in. I see it as a way to draw fans in, you know, the ones who can't get any.
Then you have that Vampire show. And Shameless.
Everyone's running around goddamn nude on the TV.

the office had 20 or so episodes this season to make michael a redeemable boss. kind of weak to just pretend like he was revered at the end there

Sexuality and nudity was a big thing back in the day and in those cultures.Sarcastic wrote:What is it with all those shows on HBO or Max lately with so much nudity and love scenes? Plus, I get some, and still don't mind.
