Yeah, Will Ferrel really hasnt done anything for me. I still like the show though.newarenanow wrote:It has been extremely dissappointing for me.DudeMan2766 wrote:Ive been avoiding the Will Ferral Office's so far. So what you're saying is that the show hasn't changed at all?newarenanow wrote:It has been extremely dissappointing for me.DudeMan2766 wrote:Ive been avoiding the Will Ferral Office's so far. I honestly think the show dies after next year. While the supporting cast is great, Michael is what holds the whole show together.cheesesteakwithegg wrote:Yeah, Will Ferrel really hasnt done anything for me. Re: TV Shows
There are some pretty bad episodes, but for the most part, the show is great. I thought with Ferrell coming on, and SC leaving, these 4 episodes would be absolutely awesome. They have been pretty dissappointing for the most part.Physical_Graffiti wrote:So what you're saying is that the show hasn't changed at all?newarenanow wrote:It has been extremely dissappointing for me.DudeMan2766 wrote:Ive been avoiding the Will Ferral Office's so far. I think that it will die too, unless they hit a home-run with Michael's replacement (which I am not counting on).newarenanow wrote:

I can see it having a real chance if this was like season 3 and he left, but I think next season is season 7, and usually great shows start dying around this point anyway, and with the main character leaving the show, the end is much sooner rather than later IMO.cheesesteakwithegg wrote:I think that it will die too, unless they hit a home-run with Michael's replacement (which I am not counting on).newarenanow wrote:

Re: TV Shows
I watched this over the weekend, is this a series or a 1 time special? I thought it was more interesting than funny, but enjoyed it very much. I'd love to see those 4 sitting around talking about a different topic each week.shmenguin wrote:anyone watch talking funny on HBO? it's just ricky gervais, jerry seinfeld, chris rock, and louis ck sitting around and talking about comedy. it's pretty awesome.
one thing though...i really like ricky gervais, but this episode was all about stand up, and with that topic, he really has no business being grouped with those 3.

Micheal is the show's identity...it should just die now that he's done.

Re: TV Shows
I don't think anyone really thought about what Will Ferrell's character should be like. I haven't got to watch last week's episode yet, but the first one felt like they were just ad libbing the entire thing.

Agreed, which is why I dont' see it lasting past next season. The rest of the cast is great, but he is the glue that keeps it all together.Troy Loney wrote: Micheal is the show's identity...it should just die now that he's done.

It didn't really get any better....I have no idea why I'm supposed to like (or dislike) him as a character.pittsoccer33 wrote:I don't think anyone really thought about what Will Ferrell's character should be like.
