Re: TV Shows
I enjoyed The Event. Anyone else think that the theme of the show jumping around to different points of time is telling us something about the prisoners? That they are not really exterrestials, but higher evolved humans from the future?

Re: TV Shows
Could be. In the 40's they were wearing clothes from that era so if they are 'aliens' they are more advanced but fashion challenged? Maybe alternate universe....viva la ben wrote:I enjoyed The Event. Re: TV Shows
yes it was, I'm starting to really get impatient waiting an entire week for the next episode. it looks like Lane (Richard Harris son) from Mad Men also just got the role of Moriarty for the next Sherlock Holmes flick.shmenguin wrote:

Re: TV Shows
I personally think they are hilarious, but it was done over and over and over and over and over in that last episode. We get it, they are fat, let's set up another joke AND then hit us with another fat joke.Physical_Graffiti wrote:Only fat people think that fat jokes are overusedMalkamaniac wrote:Mike and Molly, the 30 minute show dedicated to overused fat jokes.

Re: TV Shows
Finally watched the first episode. Good stuff. I was a little worried that Michael Imperioli wouldn't be good because I'd keep thinking he was Christopher, but he was really good.Point Breeze Penguins wrote:Detroit 1-8-7

It has a "Homicide: Life on the Street" vibe. Which is cool.

I refuse to get sucked into any new show that seems cool and mysterious at first and then kicks me in the balls like Lost and Heroes did.

decent episode of Fringe last night. 3 seasons in and its still holding my interest. Last nights episode was even better if you're a Howard Stern fan. Eric the ack-ack-actor guest starred in a "small" roll.

Last night's episode was going the right places but often fell flat. I hate the kid. What was Hayden Christensen not available?Point Breeze Penguins wrote:relantel wrote:We watched this last night. I thought 30 Rock was brilliant last night. Also, The Office, while I think it has jumped the shark for the most part, was pretty funny as well yesterday.

Re: TV Shows
Given that the premier was a cliffhanger they expected the second episode to have much higher rating than it did. It also doesn't have a lot of younger viewers either.PensFanInDC wrote:Cant find any info on this anywhereviva la ben wrote:oh andSpoiler:
