The way that took off there... I'm not feeling real confident that loaf is bad. He essentially wasn't playing though, so it removes a ? I guess.

I stand by my opinion that the vote stuff was meant for causing chaos... which some were more than willing to invite. Food for thought.

The third day of the Great Prole Uprising of 2010 was one of chaos. The Ministry of Truth had exercised its powers to re-write history, changing votes to reflect the Party's wishes. Meanwhile, the Ministry of Plenty's vote rationing resulted in certain votes being more equal than others. The Party's massive propoganda campaign had left the resistance movement in tatters.

In the town square, a mass of Proles quietly debated the day's events outside the earshot of armed guards. Round and round they went, wondering if the Party's efforts were a massive smokescreen, indicative of a cover-up, or a clever sleight of hand. Instead of, you know, actually trying to figure it out through analysis and review of the prior events since the Uprising began, most proles spent their time whining and whining and then whining some more. Indeed, some proles, perhaps sapped of the necessary intellectual curiosity to bring about the overthrow of Big Brother and the Party, noticed one of their felow proles sitting quietly on a bench. Poor, stupid, slow Loaf.

"LOAF!!! DERRRRRRRRRRR!!! He's never said a word! HE MUST BE A MEMBER OF THE INNER PARTY! GET HIM!!!"

Loaf, of course, was illiterate, let alone capable of running Oceania as Big Brother or a Ministry Head. And so in Loaf - Prole, Oceania had lost yet another potential revolutionary.

Winston went to bed disappointed, but hopeful that the tide would turn this evening.

Oceania has 14 residents remaining:

i disagree... we got a person that has said absolutely nothing out. i'd rather do it now than when there's only 4 or 5 of us left and 2 or 3 baddies left.

And so on the fourth night of the Uprising, Winston and Julia planned to strike back at Big Brother in a big way. They had learned that O'Brien, one of Winston's compatriots at Minitrue was in actuality the Chief Investigator for the Party. O'Brien was attempting to catch Winston in the act of Thoughtcrime. Winston and Julia, however, would turn the tables on O'Brien.

Telling O'Brien that he would meet him in Victory Square to discuss something important, Winston and Julia set up a perfect trap. While Winston waited in the square, Julia sat atop a nearby building with Goldstein's Gun. With only bullet, Julia would have to make the shot count. As O'Brien approached Winston, sure that Winston would ask him to join the Brotherhood, Julia fired her only shot, and splattered O'Brien's brains all over the pavement.

O'Brien, Chief Investigator for the Party - Malkamaniac lay dead.

Julia quickly moved to make her escape, only to find that a member of O'Brien's team had caught sight of the bullet flash and fired his own shot at Julia's perch. Fortunately for Julia, she was wearing a bulletproof vest, and while the shot hit her directly in the chest and knocked her over, she was unhurt. She quickly exited via a fire escape into the night.

When Big Brother was informed of this news, he flew into a fit of rage. He again ordered the Ministries of Truth and Plenty to adjust certain of the proles voting records to fit the Party's will.

Maybe we can take something from yesterday's vote. I can understand the vote for loaf, since he was absent, but there was a lot of back and forth.

Well the odd voting rules didnt help that.

Looks like we're in for more of that today.

Not sure if there is another clique member on the bad side but it totally made sense for there to be at least 1 and we got him.

I started the TL vote on day 1. Now, I understand how voting off a baddie if you are bad can be a good strategy at a certain time in the game but on day 1 it's stupid to do that.

But really only thg's was effected in that he didn't have a choice where to vote. I did.

If you look at the previous page (14) malka votes for loaf, then pittsport for loaf, then you for loaf... all within a couple minutes. We know malka was bad and I think that you're okay, at least for now (since you started the TL vote off on day 1). I also switched to Loaf late to avoid a tie.
