Here's an old thread about "The Wire." There might be some spoilers though, so you might not want to read it yet.
Edit: Here's the actual thread: http://www.letsgopens.com/scripts/phpBB ... r#p1031419" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

One of my all time favorites. Each season is a bit different, but they're all great.

I just watched the newest Weeds. This show hasn't been good since the third season, yet I keep coming back. It probably has something to do with Mary-Louise Parker.

This Jimmy Smits show is just ridiculous. It should probably star Peter Griffin.

I agree, one of the funniest, most vulgar, gnarliest things I've watched. Can't wait for the next season.shmenguin wrote:it's amazing.mac5155 wrote:any thoughts on eastbound and down? House has a salty disposition. Some are rubbed the wrong way by it. Others think that's it's an old manish type of charm. Oh and it he banged some girl. All in all an OK episode.Point Breeze Penguins wrote:House Season Premier... Thoughts????

Re: TV Shows
It was decent. After seeing the trailer, I didnt have high hopes for it. Tonight's episode started out pretty good, but it did slow down towards the end. With Chuck Lorre, Mark Roberts, and James Burrows behind it, I definitely plan on giving it time. Tonight's episode, like most pilots, was more introducing characters than anything.mac5155 wrote:Did anyone watch Mike and Molly? Billy Gardells new show? Re: TV Shows
I did. I will give it 1-2 more viewings in hopes that it gets better. It wasn't "omg turn it off" awful, but it wasn't that good either. The casting is highly questionable, and the characters are merely plot devices that can talk.Letang Is The Truth wrote:did anyone watch the event

Re: TV Shows
I say the same, 2-3 episodes before I tune out. It reminded me of Fringe except the "event" took place in the last 2 mintues of the show instead of the first 2 minutes like Fringe, everything before that was just filler.AlexPKeaton wrote:I did. Dual Survival renewed for a second season. This is the show with Cody Lundin, the guy who hasn't worn shoes in over 20 years.

Re: TV Shows
what exactly is the "event"? You can use a spoiler tag, I don't think I can watch the show based on how bad the previews were, but I am curious to see what it's about.

I enjoyed the show. It was interesting to see how Dave's attitude changed a bit towards Cody as things went along. I felt like maybe at times Dave did some silly things that were a bit over the top (taking on the gator, going after the honeycomb), but overall it was enjoyable.
