Patiently waiting for the new season of Inspector Lewis with dishy sidekick, Hathaway. Image

Detective John Kelly Loved the first years. LOved the chubby lawyer for a mafia guy...went on for 1 season of a show called "muder one!"

I see CBS is trotting out a police show with Tom Sellick for the fall season.

watched "The Second Coming" on National Geographic yesterday. About the 3 guys who say they are the reincarnation of Jesus. The crazy British guy doesn't have any followers, but the other 2 were very interesting and kinda scary. Sergei Torop or Vissarion is the Siberian Jesus who has up to 80,000 followers and they all live in their own private community village and live off the land.

Image

The Other guy was Pastor Apollo Quiboloy who has 6 million followers, I didn't catch the end to his story, so I'm not quite sure what's going on with him.

Anyone watch this, it was very interesting, I thought it was pretty scary that the one guy had 6 million followers.

Leverage started back up last night and that always makes me happy. I love that show, Timothy Hutton is awesome in his role.

Also loving In Plain Sight and Burn Notice. :thumb:

We didn't see last night's, but we did watch two episodes from last season to have 3 to go of the prior season in February, plus the two new ones from last night... Behind on IPS but not Burn Notice. And USA has gone the extra length to have two marathon thursdays in a row, where I've caught a few episodes I had missed previously.

Damages is an amazing show - truly spectacular. Every season is one big story that develops into a climactic ending. But they just finished season 3, so I don't know why you're bringing it up now. Anyway, there is a season 4 coming, sometime.

If someone has some time for TV, I whole-heartedly recommend watching this series from episode 1, season 1. It is probably the most tense series on TV, even more than Breaking Bad.

I don't like burn notice. It is over the top, but doesn't poke enough fun at itself to make me believe that it is intentionally over the top, so I find it stupid.

Did any of you catch Scoundrels and The Gates last night on ABC? I watched one last night, one today. New series. I actually liked them both. Enough for me to watch next episodes.

The Gates is interesting because it is about a gated community, where vampires and werewolves live among normal people. And they're protected by the town. If they don't make it too cheesy, it could be good. I counted 4 hot ladies in episode 1.

I wanted to watch The Gates last night, but fell asleep.

So is it worth DVR'ing going forward. Can I watch other episodes since I missed the first?

They should have it on abc's website correct?

I'll check there first. If I can't find it, I may PM you.

I've watched it a few times and I can never decide if it's being intentionally cheesy.
