Is he dying alive?SolidSnake wrote:So if Chicago wins and since they maybe in cap trouble next season will he request a trade and try to sound noble by saying if Chicago traded him then that would help out the team in the long run? then Winter his agent will say Hossa wants to play with the team with the best chance of winning the Cup and he could land back on Pit or end up with Wash or LA.

Cheers to that. Consider the hatchet officially buried, dude was a beast in the finals and I honestly had my arms in the air as Toews gave him the Cup. I was hoping he'd win the Smythe for his troubles.
As they say, "the enemy of my enemy is my friend." I rooted hard for Hossa and Ben Eager these Finals

Re: Hossa to DET
I'm beyond thrilled for Hossa. The hatchet was pretty well buried after last year's triumph by the pens over Hossa's wings. What I saw from Hossa this finals was special. Imo, he wanted it more than anyone else on the ice game in and game out. He played his heart out and completely earned the cup and a lot of the respect he had lost from me.
ps. thanks for beating the flyers. that didn't hurt. lol.

The thread has come full circle. It is time for it to die now. However, we should keep a tombstone honoring it by permanently locking it and pinning it in NPR

If this thread was ever going to be locked, it would have been just a little under a year ago.....
It does kind of feel like a trifecta has been completed in this Hossa story, though. He's picked his team and won his Cup....now this thread will probably go away quietly.
Unless....well... the Pens meet him in the finals again. Stay tuned.![Popcorn :pop:](./images/smilies/popcorn.gif)

It will be bumped every time the Pens play the Hawks at the very least. It won't die for a long time.littlemoonboot wrote:If this thread was ever going to be locked, it would have been just a little under a year ago.....

Congratulations, Marian Hossa. You earned it this year, for sure. I got a warm fuzzy feeling when Toews handed you the Cup.
Dude is a complete beast, nice to see him win it all.

I'm actually happy for him. He got what was coming to him when we beat him.
Also, someone somewhere... I don't know if it was this thread or the finals one... said that he played poorly? Hell, no. I'm sure he would have liked to score a few more goals, but he is such a well-rounded player and does so much on the ice, I thought he was one of the best players the whole series.
