Night 3

After the whole situation with dagny I was hoping things would settle down enough so that I could talk people into joining a search party for mac. For some reason though, no one wants to go into the jungle after dark.

Everyone headed for their tents for the night, hoping this one would be more peaceful than the last. Of course, that was wishful thinking for me: thehockeyguru grabbed a hold of my arm and pulled me toward his campfire. He wanted to share excerpts from his novel with me. Again.

Apparently, thehockeyguru wrote a book, Bad Smug Twin, that he had been on the way to LA to turn into his publisher. His last novel, The Valenzetti Smug Equation, had apparently been a relative hit in the mathematics world.

I excused myself as being tired and went to my tent. Barely ten minutes later, down the beach, thehockeyguru ran out of his tent into the jungle. He was being chased (though I couldn't see the faces of his pursuers). Everyone grabbed torches and quickly followed after.

Not too far in, we found thehockeyguru. He was dead - he had been bludgeoned with his novel manuscript.

As we stood there, shocked, there was a rustling above our heads. Someone lifted their torch - hanging in a net from the tree was mac. Not happy but alive. We cut him loose and made our way back to the beach.

Unfortunately, nothing prepared us for the sight we returned to: shafnutz was slumped up against a boulder. He had a syringe stabbed in his eye and was covered in Oceanic Airline tea bags.

why would the others kill THG? there's no point in them killing him. doesn't make much sense to me.

I think dagny must be an ISK. We've seen a few times where the ISK can't kill until night 2 or 3, but can't be killed until then either.

Yeah it has to be something like this. I personally think it's funny that both the village AND the baddies are trying to kill her.

I don't remember it explicitly saying in any of the writeups that the reds tried to kill Dagny, which we know now that they obviously didn't.

Dude wanted to vote for dagny before her explanation. Im willing to believe dagny for now but she is on my radar. HEY! Dagny is on someone elses radar now! HOW DO YOU LIKE THAT! HUH! HUH!!!!

Seems like he's saying that Dagny is on his radar, but he votes for thg with Dagny at one point. Then thg ends up no more.

Agreed. I'm going to do some research on PFIDC though before I vote.

i would put rel into that group. he kinda floated in towards the end of the dags vote and went a different direction. kinda silly move for a bad person but it didnt really make sense. also does corv have a power? as i was scanning thru he said his was running out, he also never voted for dags

I wouldn't discount that there may be possibly two groups of baddies killing on alternating nights and that's who tried to kill dagny.

I'm also suspicious of the errey right now, for reasons that have nothing to do with last game.

- Has barely been around, which is completely different from last game.

i'm down with a teib vote... voted for him last round, so i have no reason not to this time too.

I have a feeling that dagny probably told her group that she would try her best to swing the vote away from her with some crazy story and that they should vote on her so that it doesn't look suspicious. I've been a baddie with her before, that would be something she would do, so i don't think our investigation should be simply on those that went along with her story, but also the ones that immediately dismissed it.

I'm at a concert with the fiancée. Ill try and post when I get home. The Dagny vote is crazy because her plot sucked so bad. Which made it rather easy for the bads to lay low and keep it chill.
