What would 93.7, Madden, & the drive have to be doing for you to turn on Bendel on the drive home?
The few times I remember he is on and tune in he is talking about Pitt football/basketball with Jocko and Titleman.
They have had a 0.4 - 0.6 rating for a long time.
I don't think that rating on that station hurts Clear Channel any, they are only paying Linnelli and Bendell.
And they still need or want an AM signal for the Steelers games broadcast.
Someone should just put us all out of our misery and give Titleman his own show that we can avoid, rather than subjecting us randomly to his calls.

Bob Smizik should be proud. His witch hunt that got MM fired ruined a great station and their loss of money cost people like Jim Colony and now Ertha their jobs.

Fan 93.7 is horrible. Any station that hires Paul Alexander as their main guy is destined to fail.

Eh, she was terrible. She would provide a wrong stat / fact or pronounce someone's name wrong pretty much every news update.

People who can't learn how to pronounce names of athletes who play in the town they cover shouldn't be on the sports radio. Including everyone who still calls Dupuis "Pass-quall"

I downloaded an app named "A Online Radio" from the Droid Market. I then did a search for "93.7" or the "Fan" and eventually found the station. It might take a while for your to find it. I can also listen to ESPN 1250 and KDKA 1020.
solid, I've been trying to get Bucco games at work (insert nutting sucks here) and they blocked the streaming online, so I'll try this. Thanks :thumb:

found it, good stuff! listening to 1250 now, really good quality.
That is MLB blocking the feed not Bob Nutting.

Terrestrial radio's days are numbered. its a media that is dying every month, the ratings prove it.

Agreed. They suck. Apparently the most important thing is discussing whether you would prefer Jagr to come back to Pittsburgh or for Terrell Owens to sign with the Steelers

Would you rather talk about that or some random, cookie cutter ESPN national syndicated show?

The main problem I have with 93.7 is Ron Cook; he sounds like the king of the Yinzers.

Truthfully, ESPN. At least they're talking about something that is actually happening rather than someone's fairy tale pipe dream.

Due to my long hours driving I still flip to it just for something different. Whoever that Vinnie is on the Vinnie and Cook show makes me want to jerk the wheel into on comming traffic. How someone with an accent that horrid is in broadcasting is beyond me. Everytime he repeats the name of the station, which is about 4 times for each caller, its like a drill going into my skull.

"Yawr up on Nine-y tree sheven, duh feeen"

On second thought, I'm not sure if its an accent or an impedament. I dont think the number "sheven" is a regional dialect.
