We are also assuming the baddies before playoffs are same now bit nan used to be vig so it's not unreasonable to think there has been realignment?

Definitely could be a thought.Letang Is The Truth wrote:We are also assuming the baddies before playoffs are same now bit nan used to be vig so it's not unreasonable to think there has been realignment?
I may have lost my power because the EC vig was still alive and there couldn't be two. I don't know what PFIDC exact rules are. I just know that I was no longer the vig once the playoffs started.
I'd still probably focus on the west right now, but don't lose complete site of the east.

Re: NHL GM Wars Game Thread
I don't really see where he could have changed the bad guys tbh. It makes sense that there would not be 2 vigs but I am not convinced at all that the bad guys changed.
If someone else from the EC turns up red I will be shocked and appalled.

i kind of read the writeup when the playoffs started the two bad groups became one, thus those that were bad stayed bad. if those that were bad became good they'd say something unless they were instructed not to, and if that's the case then that would be kind of crappy. crappy in the sense that i think those kind of role changes are poop. so to me all the remaining easterners clear. that puts me at risk because i'd single out and focus on the remaining western conference people to vote out. jose, kicksave & nan are the one's i think need to go first.

Re: NHL GM Wars Game Thread
this is kind of reminiscent of the one game we played where mwb was the seer and cleared about 7 people and those 7 were allowed to debate among themselves about which of the non cleared players were going to be killed.

couldn't agree more. after this vote, nan should be next, imo.Troy Loney wrote: i kind of read the writeup when the playoffs started the two bad groups became one, thus those that were bad stayed bad. if those that were bad became good they'd say something unless they were instructed not to, and if that's the case then that would be kind of crappy. crappy in the sense that i think those kind of role changes are poop. so to me all the remaining easterners clear. that puts me at risk because i'd single out and focus on the remaining western conference people to vote out. jose, kicksave & nan are the one's i think need to go first.

try to avoid the bandwagon in the later rounds, though, we got Malka due to a decently long round with some deliberation. Then Malka went crazy...

Discussion is fine and dandy but no one is talking. At this point I think we should **** or get off the pot.
Worst case scenario we lose a quiet blue and increase our odds. Of finding red the next day.

Re: NHL GM Wars Game Thread
I'll make this nice an easy.
IF the 2 baddies are in the WC, we are in good shape. If they somehow shifted, and there is an EC one, then this will backfire BIG TIME.
Here are the WC GMs left:
- Kicksave
- Senka
- NAN
- Cupkeeper
- Jaysmiter
- LTT
- Jose
- TL
Cupkeeper is red.
Kicksave came up blue.
NAN - seer
Vote off Jose, that is one less person to look at, and there would be 4 unknowns:
Senka, Jaysmitter, LTT, and TL.
After I'm dead tonight, go after those 4.
Unless Kicksave has a bad role where he comes up blue, he is just a regular.
If the count gets close, vote off cupkeeper. He is bad.
Now, if the baddies was moved to the east, we are screwed, I gave myself up for nothing, and it may be tough.

if nan is right, whats the benefit of keeping cupkeeper around? any information he (cupkeeper) gives out from here on out isnt going to be helpful.

If the angel protects me, I can maybe get one more view in, but if not, you are leaving 5 people out there to research now instead of 4.
But I can definitely see where the sure thing can come in for the other players because I know what I know, but no one else is going to believe me fully.

kill cupkeeper --if hes red, we go after the other wc'ers...if they all come back blue, then you tried throwing your pal under the bus to gain favor...you die then. game over.
seems kinda simple to me.

Re: NHL GM Wars Game Thread
I forgot to mention in the write up:
Joe Nieuwendyk (Kicksave) of the Dallas Stars had to return home form the GM Conference to attend to a family matter. He will be communicating through me via text and email.
Same goes for Garth Snow (Shafnutz05) of the New York Islanders
