“Even though we’re 0 for 2, I have a good feeling about our progress,” slappybrown mused to his cat, Ted Theodore Meowgan, “I did the right thing by calling that meeting and getting the village on the same page!”

“But…wait…what if I didn’t? I mean, The Darkness may have already infected some of the villagers and now they know we’re on the lookout…oh no. What do I do, Ted Theodore Meowgan?”

BOOM BOOM BOOM!

There was a pounding on slappybrown’s door. In a panic, he grabbed the nearest item he could find to use as a weapon, which happened to be a 3,000 page hardcover book “The Plants of the Prime Material Plane.” Sadly, if he would have reached a few more inches, he could have grabbed his battle axe.

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

Timidly, slappybrown called out, “hello? Who’s there? It’s late!”

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

Slappybrown slowly crept to the wooden door and cracked it open as little as possible while still being able to see out of it. Yet he saw nothing…so he called out once more, “hello? Who’s there?”

No response.

He opened the door further and still nothing. Finally, he threw it open the rest of the way, and readied the tome.

Nothing but the chilly, cloudy night sky.

Taking a deep breath, slappy turned around to see a cloaked figure holding Mr. Ted Theodore Meowgan.

“Why, hello, slappybrown. Thank you for the…warm…introduction.”

“YOU LET HIM GO! HE HAS DONE NOTHING!” wept slappy.

“Please, relax. I am not in the business of hurting nice little animals; however…” he paused, a cackle escaping from his throat that was more akin to a death rattle than a laugh, “well, let’s just say, I’m not as kind when it comes to people that wish to do me and my kind harm…”

Slappy turned as white as a ghost…and then very, very red with the cloaked figure’s swift swing of slappy’s own battleaxe…

Slappybrown, the Regular Villager, was slaughtered by his own axe. If only he wouldn’t have picked up a book…

The cloaked figure brushed the blood splatter from Ted Theodore Meowgan’s fur, whispering “Who is the cute kitty…you are! We’re going to give you such a nice home, with tweats and toys and other kitties to play wif! That mean man didn’t deserve you, cutie pie!” The cloaked figure gave the kitty one last nuzzle and skipped into the moonlight.

Meanwhile, on the other side of town…

Count2infinity drew the short straw and had to take the mid shift on watch duty…sitting alone and bored out of his mind on a tree stump staring into the dark forest, his mind began to wander.

Maybe we’re all overreacting here.
Maybe this isn’t as bad as we think it is.
Maybe I should finally take a bath. The flies buzzing around me have attracted frogs and the frogs around me have attracted larger predators.
Naaaaaaaaaah. I’m overreacting now. Sheesh. This village is getting to me.

All of a sudden, a voice in the night literally scared the poop out of him.

“THAT’S IT! I HAVE HAD IT WITH YOUR MONKEY-FIGHTING STENCH IN THIS MONDAY-FRIDAY TOWN!”

“W-w-w-w-wait! W-w-w-ww-w-what are you d-dd-d-d-d-d-doing!” stammered a feces covered c2i. “I didn’t do anything! By Crom, have mercy!”

“Mercy? You want mercy?! I’M CHAOTIC NEUTRAL!”

A lightning bolt burst through c2i’s chest and spread his entrails around the village.

well i am assuming the majority would have been 15 that day and it was stopped at 14 because one person's vote counts twice

Reasons, such as they are:

1) Day 1: His vote for crayz in the midst of the thg bandwagon. He had to know the bandwagon wasn't gonna be derailed and, as Corvidae pointed out, that's an excellent way to break up voting pattern analysis.

2) Night 2: Something he said when we were bad together leads me to believe he would choose to off Kicksave.

3) Day 2: He was the 3rd vote on the relantel wagon (!!!!!!!) You all know my addiction to that reasoning.

4) Nothing much, really: If you're enamored of the random.org route, remember that when Juice first did it in SWI, he took the last on the list. Guess who's there?

sometimes i wonder why the village calls out obvious things... idk maybe its me but bringing out every detail those who matter will figure it out but just in case they dont catch it, be sure to tell all. It was just something that was obvious to me, I feel like sometimes its major fail on people to continue to investigate and collaborate such things out loud. do yur own research. when yu feel its a strong case, come forth. idk. maybe not. just sayin.
