Re: NHL WARS I GAME THREAD
Scott Hartnell's funeral was a sparsely attended affair. Not even the priest showed. The only one in attendance was Ogie Ogilthorpe - Crayz (Superstar). Unbeknowst to the village, Ogie was actually Scott's long lost older brother, a secret they had never shared with anyone in Buttmanville.
(You would have thought that the village would have realized this, but then again, Metropolis never realized Clark Kent was Superman with glasses, so go figure)
As he walked from the grave to the cemetary exit, Ogie felt a chill go down his spine. The hockey stick meeting his skull, however, went unnoticed until it was too late.
Still alive in BUTTMANVILLE:
1. Beerman - Rico Fata
2. Shafnutz - Bob Errey
3. Pavel Bure
4. Troy Loney
5. Cup Keeper - Don Cherry
6. crayz - Ogie Ogilthrope (killed night 2)
7. dagny - Jaromir Jagr (killed night 1)
8. Malkamaniac - Marty Straka
9. sdm5055 - Steve McKenna
10. mac5155 - Joe Dziedzic
11. MWB - Jiri Slegr
12. Zarovich - Marian Hossa
13. Redwill - Joey Mullen
14. Azkar - Pierre McGuire
15. Senka - Ryan Whitney
16. count2infinity - Eddie Olczyk
17. npv708 - Charlie Conway
18. Juice - Michael Peca (killed night 1)
19. JS(c) - Gary Roberts
20. Kicksave - Chris Bourque
21. Hockeyguru - Dino Ciccarelli
22. jaysmiter - Wojtek Wolski
23. tfrizz - Joe Sakic
24. PFiDC - Ian Moran
25. IrishEyes - Superstar Max Talbot
26. jwienand - Scott Hartnell (waived by the village day 1)
With 22 alive, it takes 12 to waive. If no one receives 12 votes, vote leader at 9:50PM Wed. night gets it. Good luck.

Re: NHL WARS I GAME THREAD
Crayz was after hockeyguru-Dino Ciccarelli and a few pages later hockeyguru comes up with this defense:crayz wrote:waive Dino Ciccarelli
2 reasons:
1) He is new, first time player...which usually means they end up confusing us later on or don't play
2) He asked if he should reply to all mods - that makes me think he is an RP and since he was wasn't killed on night one by whatever the bad people are....that makes me think he is a bad people.
This was over the whole asking who he had to pm. Then he apparently pm'd malkamaniac saying he didn't have a role and he didn't know why people were freaking out on him. Is this a noob mistake or more than meets the eye?thehockeyguru wrote:When I'm ousted for some BS it might point you in the right direction.
Pavel Bure also had a very impassioned defense of hockeyguru and we remember how he played things last game.

Re: NHL WARS I GAME THREAD
waive cupkeeper
this looks to me like an obvious mafia or boss or whatever move 2 for 1
they take out the guy that called out the other guy who got some heat in night 1 so we go after hockeyguru keeping the heat off of themselves
way to convenient

Re: NHL WARS I GAME THREAD
If by impassioned you mean pointing out that if he is a RP it's a stupid thing to try and kill him on day 1 then yeah that's impassioned. Truthfully though that's just standard play in the mafia game. You don't lynch possible role players early until you can actually connect something bad to them.cup keeper wrote:

FOS cup keeper for trying to make something out of nothing.

Re: NHL WARS I GAME THREAD
I don't disagree that keeping around a possible rp on day 1 is a good play. I'm not sold on any of it at this point I'm just gathering information.Pavel Bure wrote:

I agree. Why would bosses go after someone who had called them out.sdm5055 wrote:waive cupkeeper

Re: NHL WARS I GAME THREAD
This thought also crossed my mind. It could be a play by the goons to have us be suspicious of hockeyguru after his early altercation with crayz.MWB wrote:

Another thing to keep in mind. Two people died on night one but only one person was killed on night two. This leaves open the possibility that an action of someone was blocked or a protected player was targeted.

Or there is a lone assassin role who can kill and just wanted to get rid of someone early.

I don't think we still have much to go on at this point. So it's still totally up in the air.
I thought that they wrote that in the write-up?Another thing to keep in mind. Two people died on night one but only one person was killed on night two. This leaves open the possibility that an action of someone was blocked or a protected player was targeted.

Re: NHL WARS I GAME THREAD
Let me make that last statement more clear. I thought that the Game Mods, wrote that someone was attempted to be killed, and failed in their write ups?

This was an area of confusion last game I think? Maybe we can get mod clarification on it.Malkamaniac wrote:Let me make that last statement more clear. I thought that the Game Mods, wrote that someone was attempted to be killed, and failed in their write ups?

There are so many roles. It could be any of the scenarios suggested.
