I think mwb meant because we think we can narrow down where he would've placed his investigation. While nobody had any idea where I was investigating. But at the same time this could be just as detrimental to us because if we're focusing on those 4 as the people he must've investigated and he went completely in another direction then we could be in trouble, but for this day at least I think we should pick one of those 4 and I'm not picking ks so that narrows it to 3 in my mind.

Exactly. And you're right, it does cut both ways... could be as bad for us as it is good.

agreed. but if i look at those four and if i was the gardener i would probably investigate KS or dagny this round. they were both very active and dagny was on the verge of salting but i still think she is villager. KS was very vocal and was almost bossing people around and I think he would be a prime suspect to check out. The other two haven't been as active and it would be investigation solely on reputation and if i was the gardener i would check out actual leads first. but whos to say it was one of those four. ugh. i am confused

Redwill, for as much as he's posted, didn't really have much to say about why he was sticking with JC after he came out. He also suggested, before JC came out, that cup keeper should if he's a RP. This was when cup had just 3 votes.... seems pretty early to tell a RP to come out.

Well, I admit that I was going with Kicksave on the JC thing. I harbored a secret hope that KS was indeed the gardener. I backed off that thought with some of his later posting, but by then JC had come out as the gardener. I didn't buy that at all, so it just seemed to fit.

As for cup keeper, I posted

If cup keeper's an RP, he'd better come out. The damage (largely from me and TW) is done. If he's an RP and doesn't come out, he'll get it from the slugs anyway.

That's exactly what happened. Now, he may indeed have been unable to post much, but that's not something we can trust or act upon. He did post twice to defend himself and immediately after the writeup, so I think he was around, at least at the critical junctures. IMO, he should have pushed his case harder before the writeup to get protection from the sexta. But maybe the timing wasn't right...

also, i really think that it is better for the village when the gardener comes out immediately
since it almost got me salted last game, i guess i shouldn't mention (or should i) the sexta coming out so that we have someone to follow

I think it would be a terrible idea for the sexta to come out just for someone to follow. It's probably someone who is quiet anyway that wont be a strong leader. Plus it gives the borough one player to follow, not good odds.

But, im leaving for work now and lord stanley is coming today so yeah, I wont be home til late.

I'm no longer sure about Juice. His vote to salt cup keeper has my mind spinning. I'll wait on that, unless he's close to getting salted.

I'm going to go with one of several on my mind: wicked child. I admit I don't know how he normally plays, but his posts on page 12, as well as page 23, make me think slug.

If he or someone else has something to say about it, I'll of course listen.

the one thing that is making me think from yesterday.
kicksave was all over JC as we all know

and he stated many times if JC is not a slug salt me tomorrow

now he comes out saying dont waste it on me

was it attempted sacrafice? I dont know thats a bold move if it was i am still thinking on this one

I am not sold on Juice I dont like salting off of previous games and honestly Juice had that one good game and then he gets taken out early when he does play

If the sexta is nommd, the alpha and sexta die right? There are 1 alpha +4 lil sloogers and 1 convert correct? (please correct if Im wrong). the convert has already been made and whacking the sexta kills our shot at getting a slup both day and night...Id take that risk as the alpha

Well, I explained my reasoning behind this. I knew he wasn't the gardener - that didn't add up. I thought the only reason why he would fake being the gardener was because he was infact a slug trying to out the real gardener. I never thought he'd be that stupid to fake being the gardener to save his ass.

So, if you want to salt me based on that - fine. You're still just going to off a villager instead of a shot at a slug.

I think it's an alpha, 3 lil sloogers and a convert for a total of 5. Also I think they can nom whoever they want but if they try and recruit the bird the alpha and bird die?
