Seems like my theories are being tossed out the window. That is totally cool and does not effect me at all since I believe I am vindicated of any possibility of being a slug.

For Day 10, the village was full of confidence... even though the NOM NOM Bird had been doing most of the work, the villagers were full of confidence, piss, and vinegar. It was barely morning when all the villagers staggered out of bed and simply pointed at Juice then went back to lay down and nap off the hangover. Of course, as confident as the village was, they still were none too bright and the brought him to the gallows. The executioner put Juice's neck in the noose and dropped the trap door out from underneat. Juice slid right off the noose and onto the ground.

The executioner went down, picked up Juice and carried him back up to the noose. He again put his neck into it and dropped the trap door. And again, Juice slipped out and fell to the ground. The executioner walked back down, grabbed Juice and put him in the noose. Out goes the floor and down dropped Juice. Down went the executioner and grabbed Juice. Out went the floor and Juice fell again. And again... and again... and again. This went on for about 5 hours until someone finally realized, "Hey guys, aren't we supposed to be salting and not lynching?"

A cloud of confusion fell over the village and they all stood there looking stupidly at one another for another 2 hours. Finally, everyone shook their heads "Yeah! Salt him! Salt him!"

So the villagers pulled out the antique cannon that had been sitting in front of the village museum. They loaded in a 1 lbs bag of salt and aimed it right for Juice's stomach. They were about to light the fuse when the mayor stood up. Everyone looked over to the mayor who opened his mouth and decried, "SALT HIM!" So they fired the cannon and the salt blew right though Juice's stomach, burning a perfectly circular hole through him. They loaded the cannon again and aimed for his leg. BAM! Burned right through his leg. Again... BAM! Blew off his right arm. BAM! Trough his chest BAM! There went his other arm. Again! Again! Again!

After the smoke cleared, there was only a lifeless body, which looked more like swiss cheese, of Juice, a Lil Slooger, laying on the dirt.

HUZZAH! HUZZAH!

WF, the reason people are willing to vote for Juice today but weren't yesterday is because it seems a lot more likely a slug mayor would have floated his pardon on Juice's name two nights ago than tonight. Most people expected the bird to take out Juice last night. Good call again, bird. We've now got 13 villagers against 4 slugs, and we're pretty confident we know one of the slugs.

Also, since someone asked if Juice might be the mayor: he can't be, since he was pardoned and the mayor can't pardon himself.

I didn't anticipate either of the last two slug findings, so I'm a little disoriented at the moment. I'm wary the mayor may still have a pardon on Juice, so I don't want to jump onto that vote just yet. I'd rather try to figure out the other slugs first so we might find the mayor. On the other hand, if Juice is salted and is pardoned again, there is a silver lining to losing half a cycle. The mayor would be out of pardons, and the use of the pardon on Juice might let us know if any other slugs have been feeling the heat.
