It’s a good thing almost every single NHL draft pick is a total crap shoot outside say the top 5 and even top 5 can be iffy, otherwise I’d be mad trading a pick along with Nylander for a player that was essentially Nylander. That 6th should never end up a 3rd though.

We are being careful with recalls? Shea, Poulin and Stivany are all up and maybe we can only have one healthy scratch on F and D or else it’s a regular recall? Gruden was returned yesterday when Shea was brought up to cover for Graves.

That being said, I’d rather have Gruden up as a regular over Carter. So point taken.
