Official GDT: Pens @ Sens 3/12/24

Post by DelPen »

For those keeping track, Dubas has used 3 out of 4 regular callups on Puustinen, Gruden (and then sent him down) and Shea. Those clamoring for any sort of youth movement, you new here?

Watch a likely poor Penguins effort against OTT, or Jake's debut for Carolina...decisions, decisions.

Ludvig has been a good waiver pick up.

Would be amazing for the power play to score an early goal to set the tone.

Never happens.

Carter cannot handle center duties anymore, and Sullivan can't be bothered to play Acciari a single game in his more favored RW position, because Carter exists.

Kind of glad I’m in the Canes blackout area so I can’t easily go check out Jake if I was tempted to.

It’s to the point that I look forward for the season to end so we can be done with Carter taking a roster spot from a young player.

What if I told you there will just be yet another vet in a long line of vets that will be signed to take a roster spot from Poulin and Ponomarev especially?

I don’t mind Bunting at all, his problem his entire tenure here is he’s not Jake which is unfortunate for him.

Smith on the bench with the "I can't believe I'm still here" look.

Just an albatross of a roster spot through the contract.Poulin needs to be up here but the combination of the cap issues,Carter contract and knowing Sully won't scratch him is incompetence on display.

Ryan Graves = Neil Wilkinson? Is that a good comparison?

Definitely similar players whose weaknesses invariably would get taken advantage of.

Is it conceivable that nobody on this team will score a goal for the rest of the season?

This is hard to watch. Nothing exciting about this team anymore. Fear Crosby may not make his point per game this season.
