Official GDT: Pens vs Bruins 3/9/24

Post by DelPen »

At least the lines don’t look like a toddler randomly made them.

Puustinen was recalled yesterday, Harkins is on LTIR which opened up cap space for what I am hoping was an emergency recall for Gruden and didn’t burn the 2nd of 4 call ups allowed.

Rust still on IR, DOC still concussed. I don’t know if Ludvig will be able to cover for Graves as well as Chad did and frankly it should be the other way around.

Good to see Eller back to 3C. Looking forward to seeing Bunting. Sully already used his famous line he used for Zucker when talking about Bunting. “He drags us into the fight”

Penguins look at the man in the mirror and come out with a spirited effort to win 5-4.

At least that's what the Spirits tell me.

Too bad DOC is out from the concussion,he plays every game with energy and intensity.
Eller back to Center is a no brainer.Ludvig won't have it easy with Graves as his Defensive Partner, need to leave POJ where he is.

Bunting forechecking and shooting. Sully better sit him down and tell him to pass more.

Harkins got a penalty last game for doing exactly what the Bruins player did to Ned.

Bunting shot out of a cannon.

Don't coach him up Sullivan.

He seems like a decent player and has shown in Toronto he can play with world class players. He will look better than Smith for sure.

Puljujarvi with a couple of good looks early. His size makes him difficult to defend when he gets speed entering the zone.

There is absolutely nothing that Gruden could had been doing all year that Harkins was doing. Dubas has had some really bad waiver pickups.

And I could name at least 5 other players that would had done more too. What a stupid, stupid claim. Phillips was even worse.

Was about to ask when was last time was the Pens picked up something worth while from waivers.

I guess Ludvig. Can't for the life of me think of anyone else though.

Absolutely. From the start of training camp they were vocal about Harkins and White,2 guys who were useless.

I’m sure there have been some at some point. When I have some time I’ll make a list in the random fodder thread.

Pretty sure that Friedman and Bemstrom are the only guys to wear #52 in Pens history.
