Sens fire Boucher

Marc Crawford will assume the HC job through the end of the season and then the search will be on.

Why exactly the Sens decided to fire Boucher right now is about as baffling as a lot of things the dysfunctional Ottawa franchise does/does not. His contract was expiring at the end of the season anyway and just what do they feel can be accomplished with any other HC right now with a dumpster fire of a roster left?

I'm not the biggest fan of Boucher's systems at all, but what exactly got him fired now? He probably deserves a commendation for trying to get something competitive out of a team mgt has been actively dismantling the past 2 years.

I think you missed the author's point. It was satire (part fact, part humor, part exaggeration).
