I understand that Boston picked up a winger at the deadline.
Does anyone have a scouting report on him?

He was relatively invisible. Looked like they assigned Murray to Jagr.

I disagree. He made some real nice plays that just weren't finished off by his teammates. He clearly makes the Bruins PP run and is one of their most creative players on the ice.

Absolutely 41.

In some ways that's a good thing. I think he played within himself.

But Jagr's game has always been about physical dominance. One hand on the stick the other fending off the defender kind of thing.

We don't see that anymore. He's not dominate. He's at the end of his career. meh.

Lesky, face it, there's no need to be snide regarding Jamoir Jagr and common sense. It speaks for itself.
The boy had plenty of hockey talent when he was younger, no disputing that. But there's also no disputing his lack of common sense. Not only 12 years ago, but in so so so many quotes from the intervening years as well.

What's the point of posting every Jagr pic from every game he plays? Just wondering.

I didn't notice this as much when he was Philly last year, but he certainly seemed to age pretty quickly in terms of speed/movement in a year.

What's the point in making a snide remark about every new post in this thread? Just stay out of it and you don't have to wonder about Lesky's motives anymore. Problem solved.

Thats cool. People say that stat is ****, but the player still have to score when the game is tied, rather than padding stats in blowouts and empty netters.

It took you three days to come up with a smartass reply to my smartass reply? You're slacking.

Jagr gets a visual "shout-out" on the Daily Show with Jon Stewart - as the representative of the gambling segment of professional athletes:

(go to 1:50)

(incidentally - who are the "wife swappers" and the "slaughterer of men"?)
