Interesting you say that.... I'm not a bit DFH fan either, but upon reading the description it sounded really interesting so wanted to give it a try.

Mikkeller Weasel (brewed with Civet coffee)
Pretty Things Babayaga
Founders CBS (second bottle, to age)
Dogfish 120
Peche Mortel
de Struisse Pannepot

MWB - Not a huge DFH fan, but Immort Ale is one of their best beers. Outside of Palo Santo Marron, it's probably my favorite.
Palo Santo Marron is awesome. 12% abv and it tastes great.

You got a CBS and 120 at the same time? That's impressive. That's really really impressive. Where did you get both of them at? I'm aging my 120, waiting for my 21st birthday.

Right now I have a "Skull Splitter" I'm about to drink. Hard to find out of Scotland. 8.5%.

VERY GOOD. 11 bucks for a 4.

Yeah, SS is probably my favorite beer. Haven't tried any of the others (except maybe the Youngs). I'll be starting in tonight on this list.

Aging the 120 is a great idea. I have an '07 in my cellar, awaiting the right time to open it. It's definitely a gimmick, but certainly something that beer geeks should try at some point.

The CBS was a gift from the shop owner to me. I love bourbon barrel stouts, and I've had the CBS, but since it's so limited and rare this year it was definitely a very nice surprise. I find that I prefer the KBS to the CBS, but I'd like to do a vertical tasting with both. The CBS is a touch sweeter, due to the maple bourbon barrels used to age.

I must say, your taste in beer given your age is impressive. Good for you.

I picked up a sixer of Dundee Festive Ale the other night. Not bad for a 'Winter Warmer'. Very drinkable, yet nothing earth shattering. Just a very drinkable beer.

To jump into the Sam discussion, I am with some of you: for the hype Sam Adams carries, the product isn't that impressive. I used to work for a distributing company here in Florida, and we carried Boston Beer, as well as many other high end crafts (DFH, Bells, Harpoon, Terrapin, Stone, Rogue, etc.), and we would hear all the time from various reps how much of an *** Jim Koch is, and how difficult their company is to deal with. Apparently those in the craft circle do not respect the man, as he basically grew his company from borrowing ideas from other craft brewers. These aren't my words, and this is not my opinion, just something that I heard over and over again during the 3 years I worked with the distributing company. But in regards to his beer, the one's I have liked were: Stony Red Brick, Cherry Wheat (draft), Chocolate Cherry Bock, and Wee Heavy. The Cream Stout is decent, as is the Octoberfest and a few odds and ends that come in their variety packs. I was definitely not impressed with Noble Pils, Summer Ale, Blackberry Witbier, and Infinium.

I did hear from one of my old co-workers that Sam is revamping 2012's Spring beer, which will be a Wheat IPA.

I really didn't like the Anchor Celebration Ale this year. I don't mind hoppy beers (love Hop Devil), but I just found it to be way, way over the top bitter and piney.

We have that, it's very rare someone asks for it though. Did you have it? how was it?

No I haven't had it, just found this on a random Google search. I think I've heard of Lionshead, just in a random spot in Wilkes-Barre

lol in light of Doc's recent post, my apologies. I was thinking of Sierra Nevada's Celebration Ale, not Anchor. Anchor's holiday serving is pretty solid, it was the Sierra Nevada I couldn't stand.

lol. That makes much more sense. I don't care for SN because of the fact that all of their offerings have to have a high level of bitterness, it seems.

Its very good. I had Turbo Dog with my spicy jambalaya at NOLA in Market Square. It was a pretty nice pairing.
