Flames acquire David Jones and Shane O'Brien from Colorado for Alex Tanguay and Corey Sarich. Hm.

Advantage Avs. Sarich and O'Brien are a wash, except Sarich doesn't commit as many completely useless penalties as SOB does. David Jones only plays when he feels like it and it's been two or three years since he's felt like it. He's a coaster. Tanguay is at least talented, best player in the deal and it's not close. Avs win easily, even if Jones shows up for the doctor-recommended 25 games a year that he should or the 5 that he actually does...

Because luongo is better.

Because they could trade Schneider's contract before Luongo's. They have until Thursday to buy out Luongo, if they want. I think that's a last resort for them.
