Yeah, good stuff.MWB wrote:Victory Red Thunder. Very good. Aged in red wine barrels. Subtle wine flavor, but definitely there.

It's all pretty mysterious about who gets it. I don't think there's any way to know for sure without calling places up.DelPen wrote:Is the their website accurate on who actually has it? If I wasn't working I'd drive to Spartanburg but if this stuff pops up at random I'll see where else I can try.shmenguin wrote:If possible, tell delpen where to get BCBS. Worth giving a shot right? Maybe hit up your local place in the morning and see what's what.Loaf31 wrote:Is bourbon County worth all of the fuss? Thinking about trying to get one tomorrow
It's potentially the best beer you've ever had. It's also potentially meh. But the former is an important distinction.

Bummer... no heady topper. Apparently it sold out before my sister got there. Did try Long Trail's Sick Day IPA, which was very hoppy. Very good beer. Their Limbo IPA was much more subtle flavors, but I think I liked it a little better.

Re: GIVE ME YOUR BEER SUGGESTIONS!!
I was gifted a second bottle of Valar Morghulis, so I decided to share it today. I actually enjoyed it more this time around. Still can't compete with a true Belgian Dubbel, but I could drink it again.
Aside from that, I've had a few various Leinenkugels and Angry Orchards tonight.

Went to the 6th store today to talk to them. For some reason they had a 4 pack of KBS sitting behind the register. They'd only sell me 2 bottles though. Extremely random thing to find from a pretty anonymous store.
Final update. Ran my ass off this morning. Planned out a good route. Got 8 bottles from 7 different stores in 80 minutes. Only one ran out before I got there.

I had the Red Barn with Thanksgiving dinner last night. Went pretty well, very peppery, which is what I was hoping for. I liked the Red Barn on draft a touch better, but I am definitely happy to see the expanded distribution.

Troegs Blizzard of Hops is very good. Between that and Hopknife, I know what I'll be hunting next year

people were lining up to get mad elf this morning. weird stuff. you can easily find that by the case with just a very minor amount of research.

Went to Stokes for lunch.... They had Arsenal's Archibald's Ado on tap, so picked up a growler for the game tonight.
