Re: Penguins want Jagr back?!
This is a LOT of butthurt over a 60-year-old that hasn't played in the league in years.

Re: Jagr to PHI
Trade for Trevor Gillies and play him for the Flyers game. He will know what to do.

Sorry Lesky. I know you dumped your heart into this. Jagr is still the same and we can look forward to him ruining Phi.Lesky wrote:I feel like I want to die.

And I was worried that knocking the Flyers out of the playoffs next year wouldn't be as enjoyable without Richards...I guess that problem is solved.

Some arrangement of Crosby, Malkin, Staal, Kunitz, Neal, Dupuis, and Kennedy. Pens have plenty of options.RxBandit66 wrote:Well, forget Jagr, but the question remains: who is going to play in the top 6 for the Penguins?
Still possible they'd sign someone too. Either way, looks like they will go into the season with a lot of cap space. Having not made a big trade in a few years and having all their 2012 draft picks (I think), this could be the year for a big deadline move to push them over the top.

Not suck, but you can not know what to expect when you basically rip your team apart and pull together all new pieces. They may bomb incredibly for all we know.Troy Loney wrote:Right, Flyers are going to suck next year.

I have a vision of Mario unretiring, for the sole purpose of beating Jagr senseless at Consol's center ice.
Hope that $1.3 mil is worth it. I feel like an idiot for giving him the benefit of the doubt.

lol even if this is sarcasm. For all the Jagr lovers out there, Jagr and Pens won't be in the same sentence ever again.darkstar57 wrote:Oh well, i am done, see you all next year at JAGRWATCH 2012 edition

They clearly won't suck...but they basically gutted their core on offense. They're risking a ton! Now they had the head case Jagr? I just don't understand the move.Troy Loney wrote: Right, Flyers are going to suck next year.
But it sure makes me happy to see the direction the Flyers are heading in.

Re: Penguins want Jagr back?!
This is hilarious. If Jagr was dying alive when he was the best player in the NHL in a low key market like PGH, can you imagine how he will feel when Pronger, the Philly press, and the maniac cannibal Flyers fans turn on him when he inevitably goes through one of his funks?

I didn't say that either, but thanks for putting words in my mouth.Troy Loney wrote:Fast B wrote:A team that went further with all of their top players healthy. What a joke Jagr is.....he wants to win a cup and he signs with a team that just traded its best two players a week ago....hahaha.
And a team that that went further in the playoffs than the penguins....****, it's not like he went to the islanders.
Right, Flyers are going to suck next year.
