Terrific Offensive Pressure after that early goal allowed.Excellent work cycling in the Bruins Zone.
DOC with possibly the best period of his career.Scored one,set another up,nearly got a SHG.3rd Line was outstanding.
Sid Jake and Rakell with strong shifts all period.Every time on the ice they were buzzing.
Rust seems a little off his game since his return. Not a thing generated from that 2nd Line at all.
Pens better find a way to tighten it up Defensively, way too much room to let Boston get their forwards open shots,

Rust is a little rusty? Perhaps the razor needs to come out! One thing I noticed about the second line is that nobody was playing 3rd man high. Seems like they all got in deep on forecheck a few times and Boston transitioned.Zalapski33 wrote: ↑Thu Jan 04, 2024 7:55 pm Terrific Offensive Pressure after that early goal allowed.Excellent work cycling in the Bruins Zone.

A three goal lead on the road at the best team in the league? Nice, but now I am still sour we blew an opportunity last night.

Letang with another wise choice to get it on net with traffic in front.
Just basic but smart hockey and it pays off.

Hard to complain right now but that’s two goals that should had been scored from Jake and Sid.

Ned channeling his inner Jarry tonight.
Huge opportunity for him to take the reins here.

For sure as you never know how the rest of the game will play out. Those chances could end up being huge. Also not a fan of Jake looking skyward and standing still after hitting the post. Just left him out of position.

That was almost identical to Wilson’s goal, not great positioning from Ned there.

Petts with some bad gap issues tonight. Letang saved a goal with that penalty.

DId ESPN lose their audio feed from Boston and the studio guys are filling in or is this a normal thing they do?

Unforced turnover by Pettersen ends up in the back of our net

Those missed chances from 59 and 87 when it was 5-2 will come back to haunt them.
Ned looks like an ECHL'er tonight.
