you're going to have to elaborate.

they're big, tough, skilled and they're coached well. they're a great team and might win the cup.
I'm bitter, they play their system to a T, reminds me of the old Devils. How Claude figured out how to get them to work as a 5 man unit in their own zone that allows for the skater to penetrate to the middle of the ice while at the same time having all 5 guys collapse on him choking off any passing/shooting lanes at the same time is something else to view. Unfortunately it's extremely boring as well. Good for them I guess but it's not fun to watch.
Yeah. Well, it works. Not the most exciting hockey, but maybe fun, up and down, 6-5 games should be left for the regular season. Gotta know how to shut teams down in the playoffs. If anything, I'm impressed as hell with the Bruins.

Any goalie with over a .946 save percentage in the playoffs isn't just lucky.

If Sid was pulling the Toews no-show the hockey world would be appalled and amazed.

Now the rest of the hockey world can understand how we got so frustrated by the Bruins. And maybe some of those on here who were looking to ax coaches because of that series gain a bit more understanding after seeing these last 2 games. Bruins may be boring but no one said that pretty was a requirement to dance with Lord Stanley.

I'm calling it right now....

Hawks take the next three by a combined score of 14-9.

I'll even predict the exact scores of the games.

Game 4 = 4-3 Hawks
Game 5 = 4-3 Hawks
Game 6 = 6-3 Hawks

You heard it here first.

When the other teams constantly miss the net or hit the post, it helps that number a great deal. Couple that with a defense that blocks a ton of shots and limits second chances, and you don't have to be lucky or spectacular to post 3 shutouts in ECF and SCF so far...

When teams are constantly missing the net and hitting posts, the goalie is in their head and they're trying too hard to paint corners.

Not to mention there are unlimited bruins clogging up shooting lanes

It's safe to say that Rask is nestled quite securely in the Blackhawks' heads and most likely won't be going anywhere in the near future. He's making saves without having to make saves at this point.

Exactly... Keith, Kane, Sharp, and Bickell all failed to get shots on goal in the 3rd. Keith's miss in the third -- on a wide open net -- looked virtually the same as Geno's miss in the third in game 3.

That's a testament to how great defensively the Bruins are playing. Then you put Rask in their net on top of that and no wonder teams have problems.

Completely agree, but I don't give much credit to Rask for saves he doesn't have to make.

Also have to wonder how much the lack of calls is affecting Boston's surge as well. It's not 90s hockey quite yet, but the amount of slashing, interference, and other such things is getting ridiculous again.

Definitely suits the defensive style of the Bruins as opposed to the more up-tempo style of the Pens and the Hawks.

Not trying to discount the defense of the Bruins or the goaltending of Rask though. Both have been good.
