My wife is a big kolsch fan. It's very limited as far as selection is concerned. I'm not a huge fan of lager beers usually but a nice kolsch on a hot summer day is damn good.

I would assume cinnamon toast crunch, but that didn't go well last time, iirc

Stone's Unapologetic DIPA special blend. Pretty much everything you normally get from a Stone IPA, and then some. The fruit flavors are tropical, the nose have pine and floral, and an extra heavy resin tongue coating.

9% abv. A great beverage after all of the day's chores are complete.

Rivertowne has a kolsch that this gentleman tried in a variety pack. It didnt seem like a beer type to try again, but this gentleman's mum really enjoyed the kolsch.

Paulaner Hefeweizen was awesome
Bells Amber was solid
Noble Works Rakau Showers DIPA was interesting, not a lot of carbonation and very little bitterness. Good citrus taste, but I wanted more out of it

I've really liked just about everything I've had from Green Flash. Really looking forward to trying the Le Freak

I tried Le Freak in Portland last year, but I can't recall my thoughts.

Most all of the green flash stuff I've had is very good. I don't care for the Palate Wrecker, though.

I was hoping for a mikey287 "I'll have to check my notes" on that beer style answer.

I feel like Le Freak reminded me of Over The Edge, the belgian pale ale at sharp edge.

As far as cheap beer goes, I kind of enjoyed Stroh's.

Wow, talk about bad business decisions and a fall from grace. I never really cared for Stroh's.

Me either. "Fire-brewed Hell" I used to call it.

Had a bottle of dogfish heads Saison Du Buff last night. It was surprisingly good for a beer that is flavored with Italian herbs like parsley sage rosemary and thyme.

I really want to try this, but I've only found a case from dogfish and not sure I want to drop $43 to try one...

Church Brew Works - Coconut Stout: OK, didn't get much of the coconut
Flying Dog - Dead Rise Old Bay Summer Ale: terrible, would not touch this one ever again
Flying Dog - Amarillo Single Hop Imperial IPA: Excellent
Rogue American Amber Ale: Pretty good amber, would drink again
Green Flash 30th St Pale Ale: probably 2nd favorite of the evening, refreshing
Victory Donnybrook Stout (Nitro): It was good, any stouts on nitro always give me a similar smooth drink
Fatheads Headhunter: solid as always
Victory Hop Ticket Dry Hopped Pils: OK, didn't do much for me

If you are a fan of IPA's you will like this. It had a very IPAish flavor to it. It was a very refreshing to drink, perfect summer beer for me. I am not a big sasion fan, nor do I usually enjoy beers with a lot of flavor from "gimmick" addons. But since it was dogfish, I gave it a try since it was in the singles cooler at my local place for 2.50. Dogfish does some outlandish stuff, but they do an excellent job of using the "gimmicks" to highlight a beer rather then the main overpowering flavor that most other do when they use the "gimmicks".

Went on a "tour" of Shipyard Brewery on Tuesday. By tour what they really mean is you watch a video and then drink beer. Was disappointing as far as brewery tours are concerned, but they had some decent beers, including a delicious bourbon barrel aged barley wine.
