Jeff Carter has a quick release, so says Scott Hartnell's ex-wife.

Kopitar is quickly becoming my favorite forward to watch operate. He's gaining ground on Hossa

He has ridiculous possession skills. Too bad it couldn't translate to anything on that PP.

He said more people there were pumped about the World Cup.
Pretty sad they can't appreciate their great NHL team.
It's also a massive city, so.
NYC is much bigger population-wise yet all I hear is about the Rags.

Based on my experience working there for years, I'd say it's a convenient diversion from the "meh" Yankees right now, and it's a championship.

Also, they're just more familiar with the sport in general, given that ice can form there naturally. :D

Someone sent me that earlier in the week...just terrible if it's supposed to be some sort of all-time ranking? Robitaille a top-5 LW? Hull above Jagr? Toews and Crosby? Stevens and Niedermayer? That's an all-night vomitorium...

That said, if that's the list...

Bobby Hull ($4) - Wayne Gretzky ($5) - Jari Kurri ($1)
Bobby Orr ($5) - Chris Chelios ($1)
Dryden ($2)

Best LW, best C, best D of all-time.

Yes, the Robitaille thing really confused me.

Is Robitaille even on the radar when you get to 20? I don't think so...definitely not close to top-10, I'd have to really think about it but I can't envision a scenario where he's inside 20...

I mean, I'm not sure if there's an artificial time cut off...but the #3 center of all-time, and likely 5th best player ever, Jean Beliveau isn't on the list at all in favor of Toews...Maurice Richard, likely the #6 player of all time is not there...the #2 d-man of all-time in Doug Harvey is not there...that's why I was confused as to the player selection...
